Basically he always has either extreme good luck or bad luck (or something to that effect because the author just makes this shit up and retcons half of it at this point). For example, in one of his supports he said he was on a hijacked plane with his family when a meteor hit it and only he survived. Makoto just has good luck that the author only uses for asspulls ie his acceptance and survival of the death trap).

It's mediocre. Has a few good moments to make it worthwhile, but it could have been handled way better, and frankly the ending is way too cheesy. Ultimately up to you if you want to watch it, but if you do, the recommended order is Future -> Despair -> Future and so forth, with Hope going at the end of it all.
