I'm not saying that video is wrong, but i'm skeptical, my guess is this is selectively edited to portray a point in a humerious way. Not to shit on nintendo, but to be taken as entertainment. I mean notice how they never cut back to the guy who said he still plays NES regularly.

Calm down there, sonny. I think the Switch is going to do good. We haven't actually seen any big AAA games being ported to the Switch yet. However, if From Software really got Dark Souls 3 running on the Switch than I think we are going to see many games get ported. Their presentation today had more indie games than I think the Wii U had in its entire life. Everything on there sucked dick like everything else about the console but so far it's looking good. Cannot wait to hold it in my hand. I'm so anxious it's killing me.

Anyone else kind of hyped for Fast RMX? I never played it on Wii U and this looks like a hugely improved version.

I think its a safe bet that it will be successful just based on the sony "they do it for free" anti marketing campaign on the catalog.

Wii can have credit for bringing motion controls to the world but it had shit games basically nobody played the Wii seriously like the PS3 or 360. It didn't save anything or even be all that worthy of praise. It had like 20 decent games that dated like milk.

I agree. A number of non-gamers around my office are talking about it. I've told them to hold off and avoid getting one at launch, even though I'm getting one, since there won't be a lot for them to play. They still seem very interested.

I think it was smart to launch in March, and should allow them to sell quite a few from now through to Fall to core gamers, and then get a really big bump from November/December from Christmas shoppers.

They're retail employees, at the shit-tier of the retail world (excluding K-Mart). They don't know their heads from their ass, just show up on launch day.

Honestly, I don't expect people to have too hard of a time getting one of these on launch day if they really want one. I don't expect the stock to be completely sold out until Friday evening. Most Walmarts, for example, are getting 30-40+ for walk-ins.
