So far I'm loving spears, my favourite weapon.
I'm trying to make it to the tower right at the north of the plateau, but the robots are wrecking my shit.
Also, the lights and shadows in this game are just perfect. I love cloudy weathers.

The robots, guardians, you can kill them at the beginning with crap gear. You will have to learn to perfect parry (pressing A properly while shielding with ZR)
I've killed about 7 guardians all together and made it to the final bosses castle by doing this. You can parry their lazers back at them, takes about 2 - 3 for walking guardians, and just 1 for the almost dead ones in the ground.
I've come across pots sitting on the ground but found no way to interact with them. Is it an item to get for my inventory?
Use the pan, dummy.
The fire roasts apples and other shit. But you have to use a pan to mix ingredients.
Go to the inventory, select "hold" and add the ingredients. Then go closer the pan and press "cook" when the it tells you.

While you're dropping your boulder/box, can you freeze time for it, drop another boulder on it to get more speed and thus get launched higher, or does the time stop not last long enough

Drop Flint next to the pot, and swing with your weapon. It sparks the flint and lights the pot.
You can also get wood from trees, drop wood and flint next to each other, to make a campfire to pass time of day anywhere

Doesn't really matter. The last "sealing" took place 10k years, in which afterwards Ganon escaped and then we get the 100 years time skip. My personal theory is that BoTW is sort of "post" timeline convergence.

No, but it's a way to justify all the elements from different timelines coming together in the same game. I say "post" convergence because it could've been causes by Ganon's initial sealing and then there was around 10k years of a single timeline before he broke out again.
The worst part is that Monolith Soft was involved. How did they fucked it up this much after Xenoblade Chronicles/X?

It takes place after Twilight Princess. The Arbiter's Grounds are found in the desert and the broken mirror shards still remain. I've heard that the the games' heavy implication of the fallen timeline is actually a retcon where this game will be the beginning of the fallen timeline which would be moved over to the child timeline. that's just rumor though.

Are all weapons able to charge by using stamina, or only certain ones? Also if you improve your stamina do you get to charge your attacks for longer and stronger or attacks or just more attacks?
