Ya know, looking back, it wasn't so bad.

Honestly. Looking back, I think this was better then OoT and MM
Yeah you're right OP. It actually had dungeon design, and it wasn't a empty open world except for the fucking sky shit which no one bothers exploring cause that shit is empty.
Shame about the controls, and the purple pineapple boss that you had to fight 10 times.
Its very pretty to look at though.
and the cycle continues...
I mean yeah, looking back it was actually pretty good I think maybe people overlooked this one
And here we go.
it's definitely better than MM.
A lot to like about this game looking back... not sure why so many ppl werent into it at the time because looking back it wasnt so bad
MM > WW > TP > OoT > SS
No matter what flaws BotW has there is no way it will end up being worse than SS.
Wonder how BoTW will be viewed once the next Zelda comes out.
Probably as a masterpiece :/
I couldn't even play it because it looked so shitty on the wii.
Maybe I'll play one day on dolphin
BotW could be a video of Link shitting for 20 hours and it'd still be better than SS
MM was the best Zelda hands down. SS blows. The puzzles are so easy that the game literally almost tells you exactly what to do.
MM had the most interesting puzzle mechanics with the day/night cycle, and a lot of surprises.
It is the worst 3D Zeldong
Fuck you
Fuck everyone
Fuck me
>a video of Link shitting for 20 hours
haha that would be pretty funny
can someone make this, just for laughs haha
>shitty forced motion controls that were inaccurate
If they give me a version on the switch without motion controls then I won't rate it even worse than Spirit Tracks.
Yeah because it was the best fucking Zelda game.
Take off the goggles and get the fuck up to play it and people would realize that.
Is it possible to play this game on Dolphin with a 360 controller? I really don't wanna get a wii or deal with connecting those stupid controllers on a pc
So we are here already
okay can you take it down a fucking notch?
that's just uncalled for.
controls were buggy if you used a wiimote with a motion plus add-on. If you used the wiimote plus it worked perfectly.
Yes it was. When it comes to shit that could cement a game as worst in this series, that Simon Says combat will be hard to top. Even fighting random bokoblins was annoying.
No
Switch version has motion controls? Been playing the wiiU version for about 2 hours. God I love the lag. I live for that lag man.
You dont have to play 2 know that a game with motion controls is shit m8
Ya know, looking back, I really enjoy you chain-posting this thread.
By the way
>Skyward Sword is literal feces on a disc
The combat was fine, shit was very responsive and accurate. I'm not sure if everyone who complained about the motion controls were just lazy fucks or legit retarded
I never thought it was bad, I just thought motion controls were an awful way to play.
When a game makes groan every time you have to use a sword you know they fucked up.
I liked it more as I played it than I did when I sat back and actually thought about it but at the very least I think it still blows Wind Waker the fuck out.
Nah. It's better than WW and TP but not as good as OoT and MM.
haha
Looking back, it looks better than BotW.
It had certainly more to offer than Wind Waker. Don't know why that unfinished piece of shit is liked here. Probably just nostalgia since many grew up with it.
For Skyward Sword. Can only play it with motion controls. It's annoying.
>Zelda cycle actually exists because the franchise is becoming progressively worse with each new major installment
It's sad that SS had better boss, dungeon and enemy variety than BoTW. Like it's fucking pathetic. How the fuck did this game take 5-6 years to complete?
Yes it was.
Friendly reminder that the zelda cycle exists because the series literally worsens with every new installment.
Nintendo just doesn't have it in them anymore. I'm a massive fan of this series, I even really enjoyed Twilight Princess and a few parts of Skyward Sword, but it really feels like the series just has no gas left in the engines.
It had an incredible soundtrack, a great story, varied dungeons and the controls were really fun at times. Looking back it was actually quite memorable
I don't think it's even worth speculating what the next Zelda game will be like. Could you have ever imagined BotW when SS first came out? I sure didn't expect something like this.
dungeons
MM>OoT>TP>WW>>>>>>SS
overworld
MM>TP>OoT>WW>>>>>>>>>SS
music
OoT>WW>TP>MM>>>>>>>>>SS
items/abilities
MM>TP>OoT>WW>>>>>>>>SS
art style
TP>OoT/MM>WW>>>>>>>>>SS
nope, Skyward Shitstain is still the worst 3D Zelda game ever
It wasn't responsive with the attachment. Only with the new model of Wiimote that had the Motion + integrated. But what made the combat bad wasn't the accuracy. It was that every fucking battle was an enemy circling around you while its weakpoint rotated. It was retarded even if you were playing with the right Wiimote. The moment I got the bow, I just FPSed every bokoblin I found. It's the first Zelda game in which I've hated using the sword so much that I do something like that.
Spotted the console only fag. Between worlds was fucking great. Stop playing zelda games and shitting up threads. If you dont like the direction of this franchise stop playing
I've played all the handheld games. between worlds was fine but it was hardly breaking new ground. PH and ST were both complete shit, and the 3DS remakes were just that, remakes. Nintendo hasn't tried to do something actually interesting with this series in fucking years. BOTW is just cashing in on the OPEN WORLD meme but now it's nintendo.
and no, sorry, I'm allowed to criticize Nintendo for completely fucking losing touch with their audience.
Stop that.
>between worlds hasnt broken any ground
What is paintings? That shit effortlessly blended in with all of zeldas core mechanics while also making you rethink the entire game in a way that was never done before. It was fuckin genius and incredibly fun to use. Plus ruppee finally became worth something and incentivized completing side dungeons so you could get more roops. And for the record ive been shitting on botw since e3
>MM better dungeons than Ocarina of Time
Opinion immediately invalidated. MM had one great dungeon, the Stone Tower Temple. Everything else was mediocre or slightly above average at best.
looking at how whiny and entitled Zelda fans are I can understand Nintendo just choosing to stick the middle finger to them and make an open world game
Yeah. I beat the entire game on a special build of Dolphin with my 360 controller.
Name a better Zelda boss, you can't.
But Twilight Princess was better than Wind Waker.
Plus the 2d games(with the exception of Minish Cap) are either getting better or keeping at top tier quality.
You were just 12 when OOT/MM came out so everything that came out after is worse to you.
>no story component
>But Twilight Princess was better than Wind Waker.
if you like yiffing, maybe
