Who here is waiting the inevitable Switch revision to pick one up.

Zelda looks like nothing special so there's really nothing I'd be missing out on

Did you make this thread just to be assured in your decision by randos on an imageboard?

Fucking rofl

t. Nintendrone

Picking up mine on launch since I'm autistic for Zelda.

After buying their last two systems at launch, I feel like I've done Nintendo enough favors.

I unironically enjoyed Splatoon's motion controls, even Star Fox Assault, I bought a New 3DS, and even though I have fun with all this shit, I'm not quite sure what the appeal of the Switch is, yet. I don't mind waiting a little while before really making a decision to invest in disappointment again.

Nope grabbing that shit at launch since waiting another year or two for a sidegrade isn't worth it when most of the indies announced have me super excited.

Good idea.

I'm waiting for the inevitable price drop when the launch fails hard like with the 3DS. Also waiting for Xenoblade 2 to be out. No reason to buy one now because I have a Wii U

Any Switch revision is going to have worse graphics and will be cheaper. This is by far, the most expensive and powerful handheld Nintendo has ever released. If they do release a more powerful version, it'll be at least four years down the line, and if that's the case then I can just buy a Switch now and sell it when the time comes.

What if they release a version that's a home console only with boosted performances all across the board?

Considering some games are built only for handheld mode that's not happening.

I'll buy it soon after release, then I'll regret buying it within a few months like the ps4 and wii u

They won't. If they're going to make home improvements, it's going to be via a new dock that has additional power.

It wouldn't be a financially smart idea in any sense. Developers would develop for the more powerful one leaving the switch which had years of designing thrown aside and the production costs to do both wouldn't be beneficial. Maybe a locked in switch with equal specs and performance but even then manufacturing 2 massive home consoles wouldn't be smart financially if they want to make a profit. Plus the switch heavily relies on the gimmick of it being portable

Yeah just like developers are developing for the PS4 Pro and Scorpio only... oh wait...

This. I'll never understand people that wait for a revision. Why wait 2 years when you can have it now and play the games as they come out, then buy the revision down the line as well. You get more time with the system and you can get the revision. They act you somehow get ripped of when a revision is released, but i just don't see it.

>DS - Prototype
>DS Lite - Definitive Version
>DSi - New Version with actual useful features and new software

>3DS - Prototype
>3DS XL - Definite version
>2DS - wtf, kinda neat GameBoy version
>N3DS/N3DSXL - pretty much irrelevant but that NFC and Face tracking is real good

Console launches sometimes have hardware problems and the launch lineup usually isn't great. It pays to wait.

nah I get them all

having a regular 3ds and a 3ds XL is nice, useful in different situations

if a new switch version comes out I'll have an extra dock

Yep. Just like the Wii U revision. Or the Wii. Or Gamecube.

>waited for the PS4 Pro
>waited for the Bone S
>waiting for the New Switch XL

You don't understand why people would want to wait for the superior product to be refined from the first gen trash? You think people want to pay twice?

Personally I'm waiting for Nintendo to make the more powerful home only console with pro controller. It's inevitable
