I've never heard of them doing that before though, and you'd have to try pretty hard to find a popular/AAA game that doesn't have like several dozen 0 score reviews, it's not just console exclusives. This is pretty fishy.

I didn't post the image that gave it the low rating retard. Also what of it? How is it wrong that one website with one particular reviewer deemed the game bad, and with other websites praising it. Obviously that one reviewer didn't like it, and that doesn't mean that the game is horrible if just one person rated it low. Get a grip.

Nearly every game has reviews like that, Metacritic never purges reviews on account of being bad or the accounts having been created recently. That's what the "agree with this review" feature is supposed to be for. If this doesn't look fishy to you idk what to say.

It wasn't Pasta. I wrote the above post, just hadn't checked back in a few. You kids think everything is pasta.

The combat is not bad; the human combat is pretty below average, and the robot dino combat is above average, i'd say. If you exploit the stealth system the whole game falls apart; there is some self-policing to do if you want to actually have fun. That said, the bow/ranged stuff/tools combat if you utilize what's offered, is pretty engaging. I'm playing on the hardest setting and I still haven't died, so the game's a bit of a pushover in terms of difficulty.

Pretty typical open-world. Gather everything you see, upgrade everything you have. The upgrades are impactful, but they're plentiful and you can upgrade pretty much everything. Skills are somewhat bland (Do super oneshot, do even superer oneshot, do even SUPERERERER Oneshot) type stuff, but it's sufficient to get the job done.

Altogether It's a competent game, but it doesn't excel in any particular area. It's a very well-put-together set of 'Existing' ideas from other, more successful franchises. Take that for what you will.

I'm enjoying it.

Have you done many side quests to see what the average quality of them are? Are they your typical MMO "go here and get X amount of Y"?

Personally I'm more of a Zelda guy, and I don't have a PS4.

Horizon Zero Fun

I've been playing the game, I decided to gamble on it and not trust any reviews as they all seem to be super positive or super negative. It's pretty good, I like the premise. The story is interesting enough to draw me in too, so that's a plus. It's fun running around and fighting dinos, plus it really does look great. My only complaint so fat is that the movement when climbing is kinda wonky sometimes.
Not that guy but I've done a few sidequests. One of them you kill 5 animals and then go to some location to grab an item, the other sidequest involved finding some guys daughter and then when you find her you've got to find her weapon for it.

Well I can remember eurogamer's review saying it's mediocre, but eg is known for only promoting games that are super indie / exteme left or stupid shit like that. They gave deadspace a 7/10 and deducted points at resi 5 for being evil to the black mens, so I dont put too much stock in their reviews. Rest all seemed pretty positive. But I dont follow the metacritic reviews that much desu, the sources I trust said it was a good game, so might have to buy a ps4 at some point for this and bloodbourne.

How's it not hitscan when I don't even have to lead my shots? I was shooting at geese in the game earlier and I didn't have to lead shots when they were flying away. You can also hide behind walls and as long as the reticle is on a target you can do damage to them.
