The only real problem I have with it thus far is that it's pretty ugly. Effects look nice, but the game is aliased out the ass with a resolution low enough to where it looks like someone smeared vaseline on the screen. The character models seem pretty nice, but the lighting on them obscures most of the details and definable features.

Why IS Sup Forums so mad at this game? They've been spamming and screaming the """flaws""" of the game like it's going out of style.

No webms, no pictures, even Link in the Gerudo outfit is being tagged as a mistake and Nintendo pushing an agenda.

Is this the result of only seeing the Great Plateau and Hyrule Field and thinking the whole game is like it?

I've been watching a stream for 6 hours and it's pretty good aside from the graphics

Beyond some lower framerate and weaker lighting, is there any difference so far between the Switch and WiiU versions?

Switch has better audio, apparently (I'm guessing they mean stuff like a horse's hooves being the source of the trotting sound, as opposed to a generic trotting sound). Wii U is 720p whilst Switch is 900p; Wii U also doesn't have a stable framerate compared to the Switch version (though it's generally fine from what I can tell). Other than that, they're identical.

It's the result of Sony fans not knowing how to cope with the Switch launching with the game of the decade, a game on the level of SM64 and OoT, a game that will get 95+ on metacritic and a game that will win every award you could think of as well as still being talked about in many years to come
