Which would you prefer for budget gaymen?

Which would you prefer for budget gaymen?

1080p@144Hz+Gsync

or

1440p@60Hz+IPS

1440p@144Hz need not apply.

>budget
1080@60. You don't need more.

1080p/240hz is ideal

When you shower, do you ever hold your hand in a cup around your anus and fart, so that the gasses form bubbles in the water?

1080p@144Hz, but why Gsync?

If it's a budget just get what you can.

>gsync

>budget gaymen
>Gsync

Gsync monitors are like $600+ bro.

1080p@144Hz with no gsync faggotry

Fuck you. 1440 144hz g sync is the only answer. What are you, poor?

Unless you can guarantee a stable frame rate that is 144, 72, or 36 100% of the time, you will have stutter.
Gsync or freesync removes this issue.

Sad that kids like you don't know how to read that chart.

>1080p@144Hz+Gsync
that, fuck higher res いらん

the best

1440@144hz +freesync

>144hz
>not 180hz

Are (you) poor?

unless you play competitive fps you don't need 144hz

Ultrawides are GOAT. Too bad getting one at a high refresh rate is expensive out the ass and the rare budget ultrawide 1080p naturally has awful pixel density so it looks like trash.

1440p@144hz with kikeSync or FreeSync.

1440x800@45fps masterrace

>144hz

Step aside, whyte boi.

my nigga

whats the point though

1440p@144Hz, anything less is a meme

moar fps

what is even the point

you can play csgo at 360hz i suppose but that's about it. overwatch caps at 300fps, quake live and cpma cap at 250

frameratefags are just as bad as audiophiles

and all of those are higher than 144

sure but you can buy regular 240hz monitors. this guy has overclocked a 240hz monitor for no good reason

honestly i'd like to see what it looks like in motion but i can't imagine it's worth reducing the lifespan of a $500 monitor

You're the meme now.

There is literally no graphics card which can do 4k/144fps. Not a pascal titan, not even a memedro p6000

You would have to do SLI pascal titans and put up with all the microstuttering that causes.

Did this over a year ago. No regrets.

>There is literally no graphics card which can do 4k/144fps.
It's as if 3 years old and older games magically stopped existing. It's as if people don't replay their favorite games.
New games, yeah, 4k@60fps is the best you can have right now, but that's only now. Better GPUs and processor chips will come, but this monitor is pretty much the pinnacle of what one could wish for. Well, maybe a 32'' version because 27'' is too small for 4k.

...

The pinnacle of what you could wish for is saving the $2000 it will cost, instead buying a superior OLED 4k/144fps monitor in a few years when GPUs can actually handle that.

1080p 144hz

DSR always exists if you want to play something in "1440p".

>27" is too small for 4k
That's just plain wrong and nothing more than your personal opinion.

>That's just plain wrong
And is that not your subjective opinion?
I have 4k 32'' display and I need to use 125% high DPI scaling in order to feel comfortable.

>U2515H
IPS is beautiful but I wouldn't game on it. Input lag and 60hz sucks dick for a gaming monitor. Usually you have to sacrifice color accuracy for the refresh rate but it's a fair trade off when you play your games in high fps.

>DSR always exists if you want to play something in "1440p".
Please. It's not the same. If anything it's just a costly AA solution.

What? IPS are one of the fastest ones, are you sure you're not confusing them with TN panels?

60Hz is perfectly fine for gaming. Input lag is a retarded meme, and there's absolutely nothing wrong with 5-6ms anyway.

Uh you're incorrect buddy.
TN are trash but lower latency.
IPS have better colors but more input lag.

If you've used 144hz you'd know it's not a meme. 60hz looks like shit.

IPS is improving over time but it's still not as fast as a TN panel. The trade off is how nice IPS looks, if you're serious about input speed and high fps a 144hz TN panel is what's best currently with the trade off being it doesn't look as good.

ASUS VG248QE a best.

>If you've used 144hz you'd know it's not a meme. 60hz looks like shit.

I have, and I feel it's only relevant if you play competitive shooters. 60Hz is fine for people who just play single player games and shit.

Dragon's Dogma looks pretty damn good at 144hz.

It looks pretty damn good at 60 too.

looks pretty damn good at 10 on my ps3 too

I don't believe you've experienced 144Hz/FPS.

Every single person on the planet knows that once you leave 60Hz/FPS behind, you never go back. Regardless of the kind of game it is.

>tfw this monitor is stylish as fuck
>wanted to buy it once i had my new rig, was 250€ back then
>finally get new rig, about to buy the monitor
>it's 335€ now
>have been waiting 3 months but the price only goes up instead of down
REEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

this.

don't see the need for anything more, all depends on the software graphics and developers

No man should have this much power

None of the monitors you have mentioned are budget options. You'll at least need a 1070 to support any one of those monitor. Those are not budget options.
