Game of the Fucking Year confirmed
Thank you nintendo for this masterpiece. Now we pc players have a game too.
>IGN gives the switch a 6.7
>ign sucks fuck them
>IGN gives their latest rehash a 10
>wow goty good job ign
This prett much confirms their rating system is worth shit. Not because the game is flawed but because a perfect score should never be used.
It's BS
Reminder: IGN gave Skyward Sword a 10/10
if a perfect score should never be used, then why would a 10/10 even be an option at all? It's pointless to say that a 'perfect score' should be impossible. Really, a 10/10 just means it's as close to flawless as it gets.
Gamespot gave SS a 7.5 but gave BotW a 10. Really makes you think.
>switch is 6.7/10
>the review specifically calls out botw for framerate issues
>10
Pardon?
It's a hardware issue. Switch is just underpowered shit, while the game is really good.
>ubisoft towers
>degrading weapons
>shitty puzzles
>open world
nah
>IGN gives the switch a 6.7
>BASED IGN NINTODDLERS BTFO
>IGN give botw a 10
>WHY THE FUCK ARE YOU TRUSTING PAID REVIEWS?!?!?!
sounds more like horizon down's syndrome LMAO
>this gets a 10 because its a nintendo game
>w3 gets a 10 because it's a good game
Both are shit, what's your point?
>IGN gives the switch a 6.7
>WHY THE FUCK ARE YOU TRUSTING PAID REVIEWS?!?!?!
>IGN gives botw a 10
>BASED IGN SONYGGERS BTFO
>if a perfect score should never be used, then why would a 10/10 even be an option at all?
It represent perfection. If 10/10 wasn't there something else would take its place as the best possible score. If we scored games on a scale from 0-9 then 9 would represent perfection. This is simple math.
...
there's no such thing as actual perfect, though, that's my point.
B-but real hardcore gamers know its shit.
>what is Chrono Trigger
>trump wins presidency
>botw wins goty
best timeline
nintendo games rarely win GOTY, they always give mario and zelda good score to keep nintendo fans happy but they never consider them award material.
That's why Splatoon didn't win best shooter and muliplayer over CoD, Destiny, Halo and Battefront, oh wait..........
Whatever, call me when your switch can run Bloodborne or Nioh
>Talking about GOTY... brings up best shooter.
Looks like the cheque cleared.
Fuck you Skyward sword was great.
This, SS (Skyward Sword) is probably the best Zelda game yet.
>This is simple math
No its rating video games
Fuck the haters. That game was awesome. The final boss was underwhelming though. Definitely not a 10/10 title though.
What's up sonyggers
And people say the Zelda cycle isn't real.
almost nothing is ever a 10/10
if we are to actually have full objective autism rating, as in 10/10 is a perfect game that has infinite replayability, BoTW is a 8.2 out of ten. For comparison Gothic 2 would be 8.6.

Too bad it's not Switch exclusive.
wahoo
And if 10/10 was the "you can't ever actually get this score" option, then by default 9 DOES become the pinnacle, which is self-defeating.
BUT THE ULTIMATELY POINTLESS SIDEQUESTS DON'T HAVE DEPTH
ZELDA IS SHIT
DELETE THIS!!!
>The untamed, post-apocalyptic, techno-fantasy land of Hyrule is the main character in Breath of the Wild. Not only is it vast, beautiful, and filled with a diverse set of locations from grassy fields to craggy alpine mountains, but it follows surprisingly realistic rules that let you pull off solutions so intuitive that you might be surprised they actually work. The trees bear fruit, grass fields can be set ablaze, and even enemies and animals behave in a believable manner, based on the skittish and aggressive reactions I’ve seen in the wild. But the realistic touches don’t end there. Each object you encounter, from sticks to apples to rocks and metallic blocks, is made of a material, and those materials usually respond to forces like fire and magnetism as you’d expect.
>It all sets up a surprisingly fun and responsive sandbox to interact with, and one I’ve rarely seen executed so well in an action-adventure game. If you think something should work, it usually does, and that led me to all kinds of fun and hilarious experimentation. You can stand under an apple tree with a torch and bake the fruit into a quick-healing snack before you even pick it, or drop a metal sword in front of a weaponless enemy and watch it get fried by a bolt of lighting. Meanwhile, Link needs warmer clothes to survive the cold and flame-resistant gear to near the volcanic Death Mountain. It’s consistently amazing to learn how all of these systems interact with each other while you play.
Prove him wrong.
Not sure if you guys are shitposting or retarded.
I can't speak for the other guy, but I'm just shitposting. He probably is too.
Wow nice cool. But what's the point?
Remember a 10/10 is reserved for games who literally defined a genre and marked an era.
Tetris
Doom
Diablo(2)
Not some fucking kiddie trash open world game that gets boring after 20 minutes.
