>download every gamecube game on a whim
>play a few of them
>get bored
Sure I just lack motivation right?? Whats your favorite god damn game cube so I can play one of these. I just can't decide which one to invest time into.
Download every gamecube game on a whim
Muppets Party Cruise
LUIGIS MOTHERFUCKING MANSION
WITH THE ADDED BONUS OF EMULATING AMAZINGLY ON DOLPHIN
Back when Nintendo had real games on their systems.
Star Fox Adventure is fairy decent as well, but takes more patience
Custom Robo
Kirby Air Ride
Spongebob Battle For Bikini Bottom
F-Zero GX
Bily Hatcher
Simpsons Hit and Run
Custom Robo.
I think it has some hiccups when emulated, though.
TTYD
except i got bored with TTYD when I remembered how drawn out the opening was
metroid fucking prime
This is the most underrated game on the Gamecube and possibly of all time
...
>tfw tempted to buy gamecube adapter thing for PC
>tfw they all look sketchy as fuck
Twilight Princess and Metroid Prime
Custom Robo
I-Ninja
Star Fox Adventures
3D Zelda games
Chibi-Robo
Does anyone else's F-Zero stutter for no real reason?
It doesn't matter if I put it at max settings, 8x AA or just everything native. It will hit 60fps for 15 seconds then drop all the way down to 30 then right back up to 60.
Meanwhile Viewtiful Joe 1 and 2 has been a constant 60 throughout.
I think it's just the idea of the fact that you got all of them for free. Pretty sure you would be a bit more invested if you paid 50+ dollars for each of them.
Get a bone controller.
Even supports Dolphins rumble.
Gotcha Force is unironically one of my favorite games to this day
I'm playing this now and I like everything except the battle system. Battles drag on and I hate rearranging my deck every new area so sometimes I just skip doing it. Just beat the Tower of Druaga dungeon, that was unexpected.
Playing custom robo against real people was the best.
top kek I thought you were joking but this is actually a game
noted I will give it a shot I actually have never even played this before some how
Looks like a silent hill type of game will give a shot, I actually didn't even download this one
I have played the ever living fuck out of custom robo fzero and air ride but I will check the others out
luckily I own this one on real gamecube but I have 100%ed it too many times to want to replay it.
This truly is the bane of my existence. So far I got passed the Pikmin opening (if you can call it that) and started playing that but I am a little bored.
Not too into turn based rpgs unfortunately
this looks kinda generic
I have beat TP too many times but I gotta play metroid since I have never fully completed it before.
I ninja is a hidden, I recall getting far in star fox adventures but the start of it is so god awful
use the skip efb access thing or whatever that settings is called. Should remove the stutter. Also found that playing in full screen removes frame pacing issues in every game.
You would think that but I own an actual gamecube and got a few games somewhat recently. Did not play them much, although I did beat twilight princess.
I found this because of my love of custom robo. Looks sorta similar.
I know this is a big ass post but every time I go to post I refresh and there are more replies
...
Is that true? Man, regardless of all the other shit they pulled, those controllers are just boss.
>XD
>Real games
Stop being a memeing cuckold child and go to bed. You weren't alive when the GameCube was out.
SUPER SMASH BROTHERS, MELEEEEEEEEEEE!
Netplay required
There's online for this shit? Do I need to find someone or is an auto search?
>>download every gamecube game
That Thing You Do?
someone posts lobby ID
I downloaded pretty much every worthwhile gamecube games. Theres too much shovelware bullshit that would have filled my hard drive to download literally every game.
Custom Robo
>nonstop entertaining dialogue and fleshed out NPCs in a game that's a parody
>HOLY SHIT-tier twist
>fast and fun gameplay
Not the guy you replied to but if you don't like the battle system why are you still playing it?
I love this game but the battle system was definitely reason I played it. I remember the voice acting was dogshit and the story was alright.
Though i will admit im the type of autist that spent hours optimizing every character's deck.
That island, Mira, was probably my favorite part of the game though.
Wish I could reset my memory on this one. Beaten it too many times to count.
It has a nice twist and it actually feels finished which is a bit of a departure for Kato, but it still feels like a let down after playing Xeno and knowing how much more engaging it could be.
I wanna find out what the fuck is going on with Malpercio and shit. Probably MC reincarnated or something. It's not that I hate the battle system, it just draaaaaags.
Why did you download all of them, moron?
should have just put all the good ones I was typing quick
What? I specifically remember putting my gamecube in layaway when I was a kid and my dad saying I cant have it until I do enough work to pay it off. Then me and my sister went out to eat and then aeen Resident Evil.
I was there, man.
>>use the skip efb access thing or whatever that settings is called. Should remove the stutter. Also found that playing in full screen removes frame pacing issues in every game
Ah shit, thanks user. It didn't solve the problem completely, but it's definitively improved. The stutter happens like once every 30 seconds and only lasts a second or so. It's not too bad, but a massive improvement from before.
How do you do that on a whim?
I was listening to animal crossing GC music and it started from there. Downloaded dolphin 5.0 since I lost it after I did a windows reinstall and a switch from an HDD to SSD.
Downloaded animal crossing then another game etc until I ended up downloading every single good gamecube game I could find / remember. Sitting on 65 games / 80gb at the moment.
Huh, I thought this was arcade only.
Is it decent on gamecube?
where did you download the gamecube games?
I feel you
I can see how the battle system might be annoying until you get to the endgame where you have the option to make any deck you want for any character.
For example, you don't really get any chronos cards until like halfway through the game/ you have a ton of wind cards in the early game so chronos seems like a waste until you realize that a chronos deck might be pretty cool.
Not to mention that your level directly affects how many cards you can draw at a time so in the early game defense only cards are pretty shit since you can only draw like 3 cards at a time and so swords that can attack and defend are the only type of cards worth having.
How does it change in the sequel? Gonna hop into that right after I finish the first one.
>REmake
>Wind Waker
>Metroid Prime
>Skies of Arcadia
>Viewtiful Joe
>TTYD's opening
>drawn out
Don't play the original. You are more than 5% through the game by the time you actually get to engage in gameplay properly.
>65 games
>80GB
>these days it's possible for one game to take up 80GB
just use any xinput compatible controller dummy
Gotcha force
Super MONKEY BALL 1 and 2
yeah, play metroid prime
Idk bro
I never played the sequel.
I want to but i have to wait until I upgrade my toaster to run dolphin
All i know about Baten Kaitos Origins is that its a prequel so Geldoblame is a good guy and there's only one deck that's shared between the 3 playable characters.
I use a PS2 controller adapter I brought from Amazon, and it work OK.
no point getting cheap chink shit.
The official WiiU one the best and not too expensive..
