Also everything form the NeoGAF leak from 8 months ago was correct, so PC, X1 and PS4 versions are coming before the end of the year if you don't have a Switch.

I don't understand Bomberman 64 as top tier.

How many of those games are like Bomberman Hero in that they have bosses and a overworld map and stuff? I love Bomberman, but only when he's actually on an adventure not just fighting different colored versions of himself. I also like when he can move more like in Hero, if there are any other platformery ones.

Well that's disappointing but not surprising.
Level design is good. Bosses are fun. Music is spectacular. Has an overall good presentation. It knows what it wants to be and it does it well.

Yes it is so. It's not as good as the other couple of 64 games, but it's still what I'd call "Bomberman at his Bomb-iest."

You strategically place bombs around the battlefield. Each Bomb counts down each turn. If a unit gets caught in a explosion they die. It's been translated but honestly wasn't my cup of tea.

If you're speedrunning they do.

Speedrunning is like 20 minutes.
