>humanoid (runs away and aggroes friends)
>ranged
>burst damage
>low level area
Yes

>figuratively the most dangerous npc in the game
you can aggro 10 of them and oneshot them with enchanted BoAs lol

they dont hit hard at all

t. mopbabby

>getting b8'd

>everybody always memeing these mobs up
>solved by dancing in and out of line of sight around the 800 barns and cabins in every farmstead

black fellow assaulted by question marks.jpg

>played a private server
>casted his fireshit once
>then ran into me
>literally inside of my character model
>tried to cast again
lol fucking mangos

>try to attack mob on private server
>gets stuck in a rock or something and evade bugs
>can't log out because stuck in combat

mangos servers are always fucking shitty
ranged mobs will always issue a move into you after they cast a spell/shoot a ranged weapon

these weak clothed magicmans are meant to be at a distance for a fucking reason

Those NPCs aren't in the game anymore user. When they were, BoAs didn't exist.

Good thing we have such amazing alternatives to mangos like

I've noticed on Elysium there are some that stay at a range casting and shooting bows, but not all. And there's a noticeable bug where about 1 in 4 throwing weapon mobs will just bug out and stand 10 yards in front of you and stop attacking.

anyone remember the ravenhill in duskwood? with all those fucking ghouls and elites around? i still have nightmares about that place at like level 25. god i miss WoW when it was good.

>tfw killing the rare in the catacombs and finding the spiked collar from wc3

>in the span of 13 years there have been more than 100 WoW emulators
>and over 730 forks of mangos
>nearly each and every single fork of mangos has been closed source
>and as such public emulation has not evolved in nearly 10 years
every time

>dicking around down there, discover the "secret passage" to the other side

I wish wow had more stuff like that, I don't like how the revamped Cata quests lead you there.

>When they were, BoAs didn't exist
wotlk

mor ladim the noobslayer

>"HUH"
>"Ok, let's fight"
>critical fireball on face
>"Oh fuck, I'll just interrupt him and run away"
>missed interrupt
>panic
>dazed
>"please be gentle"
>almost can hear his laugh when he's casting his fireball
Yeah, fuck those guys.

the best part of WoW for me was the world and how uncaring it all was... like, in vanilla you could just get fucking raped in those catacombs and have to admit defeat and spirit res or call for a buddy.. or like, trying to do quests in eastern plague lands at 60 was still fucking difficult, you could still easily die if you were retarded, sometimes y ou would die even if you played well.. nowadays, ever since wrath pretty much, you can never die unless you're pvping or raiding... the world doesn't fucking matter anymore, just the raids.. it's so sad, because the world and music is what fucking made WoW...

like, i used to follow this 10-60 leveling guide "james leveling guide" or some shit, and i can remember each area like the back of my hand. compared that to WOTLK areas, which i know nothing about other than like storm peaks maybe, and sholazar basin. vanilla just had so many iconic zones, it felt like home.. cata killed all that ofc

UUUEH HUH HAAAAAH!

The problem with a lot of stuff since WotLK and especially Cata is how you're forced to progress through zones with one really long quest line.
