I only played 0.2, but why is she a "Mary-sue"? I'm waiting later this month to actually play BBS with 1.5+2.5 collection.

She isn't, I'm not spoiling anything but to be a mary sue is to succeed in everything you do with no effort and she doesn't do either of those things.

...

She's a woman in an action role, its pretty fucking safe to say she's a mary sue.

Within BBS it probably comes from her being thought of as smarter, stronger and more moral than the two male characters, being the true main character who never makes any mistakes and comes out looking better than everyone else. 0.2 likely didn't help because of how Toriyama revised the ending to make her look better compared to the original. Whether that is all true or not is up to interpretation though.

However a lot of it probably comes from fanbase perception as well, since the fanbase tends to act as though she is better than everyone else in every way.

Does it make existing characters be stupider for no reason?

or just a bunch of new scrubs?

>Toriyama
Is this a bait?

Every character is a Mary sue in KH

I wouldn't call her a Mary Sue but it bothers me that Xehanort basically magically screwed Vanitas and Terra using Darkness but just ignores Aqua.

It's like she won by not doing anything.

Aqua's a failure though. A sympathetic one, who did nothing wrong, but a failure nonetheless.

Not so far, since they only really interact with the younger versions of said existing characters. Now when KH3 comes around we'll see what happens.

Yeah I meant Nomura, not sure why I said Toriyama. I guess all of the Lightning comparisons got to me.

>Vanity
You meant Ventus senpai.

Thats not the definition of a Mary Sue at all.

So who is better Nomura or Toriyama. No safe gay answer like both is good or shit. BETTER

Its the practical definition for it.

Because all the virgins pop a boner over her when she is as forgettable as Ven and Terra.

Nomura by far, toriyama ruined the biggest rpg franchise of all time

Toriyama did way more damage than Nomura did.

MAI NIGGA

Dragon Quest was always better than Final Fantasy, though.

I don't get why people keep saying Lightning is Toriyama fault? Unless I am mistaken, Nomura is the designer no?

Nomura, easily. Maybe if he makes Aqua break out of the RoD by herself to save Sora and company, then becomes the real protagonist who solo's Xehanort by merging with the true Kingdom Hearts and becomes the Goddess of the world while Sora and Riku cheerlead for her, yeah then he'll be as bad as Toriyama.

What the fuck is going on with Aqua's neck?

I doubt that would happen. He's had plenty of opportunities to replace Sora as the protagonist in the past, and he could even retire him after KH3, but he repeatedly refuses to do so. He's even gone on to state that Sora will continue to be the protagonist after KH3, to the chagrin of some [faggots].

Having Aqua show him up would be contradictory to what he's been doing this whole time. Hell, even in KH3D, which many tout to be "Riku's game", spent pretty much the entirety of its story sucking Sora's dick and constantly going on about how great and special he is and how only he can save everyone. I mean, at least Riku got to be Master, right? Sure, it's an empty title and he probably won't accomplish anything significant, but at least everyone will have to put "Master" in front of his name all the time, right?

Toriyama is the one who shoved her down everyone's throats.

His fault she became vidya Roman Reigns

I want to impregnate Aqua

Well yeah, I was just saying what would have to happen for Nomura to be as bad as Toriyama. So far, even if Aqua is too 'perfect', she hasn't been shoved down our throats as much as Lightning was. Even outside of the FF13 games we had her show up in Dissidia as the OG leader who pretty much curbstomped every antagonist she met while being a bitch towards everyone.
