Truthfully it was because the charger is in a fucking stupid spot, mine didn't charge at all while docked and playing BotW, it could not connect to my home wifi even though it could get on my work wifi (I played all day at work, we weren't busy), the right joycon hurt my thumb over extended use, BotW gave me a certain feeling that it would be pretty samey throughout the whole game, the general UI of the Switch felt unfinished but polished (if that make sense)

I think the Switch was a ploy by Nintendo execs to not lose their jobs. Wii U was a catastrophic failure so they needed to push something fresh out fast otherwise they were on their way out too. Unimpressive launch titles (admittedly that's a norm), lackluster power behind the product, etc. I was truly hoping it would be what got me back into "console" gaming, especially since the Switch is super convenient to just pick up and put away. Whoever did the sleep for that thing needs an award.
