Try and defend this

Try and defend this

Protip: you can't

???

Thought you were showing a 3DS for a moment. Nintendo is shit when it comes to properly calibrated color temp screens.

Top has a colder temperature profile and bottom has a warmer temperature profile.

more and more signs that point to a cheap chink tablet sold for a massive markup
you will need to buy switch pro in one year to have a better screen and maybe 60fps

so ips vs tn screen lottery again?

No. They're both IPS.

how many threads are you going to make?

ok then, just shit color temp lottery. what the fuck is up with Nintendo not making everything the same

Actually, I can.

These are NOT different screens. This is simply a byproduct of the curing time on the glue between the touch panel and the outer plastic/glass. The neon switch may have been made closer to release than the gray one. New iPhones often have a yellow tint caused by adhesive used for the digitizer.

This is very common on smart phones and I see threads like this pop up every single time there is a new phone release.

The console with the warmer tones will look pretty close to the cooler toned console after some more use.

It's cheaper and I hate to say it, but the average Switch owner is not going to notice or care.
Note how the TN vs. IPS 3DS thing was never mainstream knowledge.

so what you are saying is that eventually they will look the same?

Explain please

yeah that is true. only us tech people and neets actually cared about the whole ips thing.

And? Phones that get this dont lose the tint btw. Its not acceptable on any screen and should be covered by warranty

works on my machine ;)

>tfw my Switch screen looks very cool and is perfect
>tfw zero joy-con issues even from the other side of the room
>tfw zero scratches because I insert it like a normal person, not like a kid

I'm just a God

*TN

They're IPS.

What

Moo

turn off power save mode, COGLIONE

I never believed in shillforces on Sup Forums until I saw the torrent of shitposts about how the Switch is the most "BROKEN THING EVER" when 99% of cases are intentionally misleading non-issues or people entirely fucking their own shit up doing stupid shit that no non-retarded person would ever do unless they were explicitly looking for trouble.

Interesting read, thanks user.

You are the shill

>THAT is what makes you realize there are shills.

I do not want to live on this planet anymore, everyone is infected with the dumbs.

>people still buy launch day consoles and don't wait at least a year

Why?

Yeah, I was gonna say, didn't some 3DS have that issue but it went away as time went on?

It's a quest for IPS N3DS all over again!

If they are both IPS then that means calibration error?

more like cheap IPS, or maybe just a shitty VA, like the 3ds "IPS"

Yeah, early 3DS XL units have yellow tinted screens that faded over time.
This was because of the adhesive used in the manufacturing process.

That said, colour temperature like normal, cool or warm can't really be attributed to that.

enjoy your ghosting from a slow unresponsive matrix meant to be used for still pictures processing rather than videogames.

99% of the issues of the switch are design flaws.

MicroSD is a design flaw.
Battery charger on the bottom is a design flaw.
A single screen touch device for $300+ that only plays games is a design flaw.

Are you shilling or just intentionally being a nigger

Normally I would agree with you but something seems very fishy about the fact it's a Red tint, the yellow tint on phones makes complete sense as uncured adhesive causing that type of discolouration

But a Red tint? Sure, it could be the type of glue and how it interacts with the materials of the screen and in turn how that refracts the light from the screen for some reason causing a red tint this time, but that would be quite strange.

I actually find it more likely that it's typical Bintendo Quality Assurance at play here.

i can't
what's your point?
