Bomberman hero is good OP
where did he imply it wasn't?
Konami is how. A new adventure title was planned for 3DS but Konami pulled the plug when they took over hudson. Screwed over Bonk too
>hero
>good
Bomberman 64 would still be good if not for its frame rate
this
t. journalist
I bought it in the hopes that we'll get another 64 or Hero in the future
it's not gonna happen
Super Bomberman R is decent and fun game, my only complain is that it runs at 30fps
I always felt like I should make my own Bomberman 64 successor.
What should I call it? Explode Fella?
>completely disconnected from other games in the series gameplay-wise
>those drab, unremarkable environments
>these terrible enemy and character designs (if you tell me you didn't want to punch the discount leia in the face or that you didn't forget the boss and enemy designs 2 minutes after seeing them, you're lying)
>no battle mode
gameplay doesn't suck and ost is okay even if extremely repetitive, but Sup Forums needs to get off that game's cock because it's doesn't even compare to the best games in the series (64 being one of them)
nice opinions, faglord
great counterargument cumguzzler
wait the game doesn't look like 2D stylistic?
at least in OP's pic they used in game models
>64
>not completely disconnected from other games in the series gameplay-wise

unlike 64's blue dragon and weaboo mechas
64 has better "plot" progression
jumping in hero is more fun than anything in 64 though
64 was an evolution of the classic gameplay - you still have to run around and lay around bombs, what mainly changed is the removal of grid and cross explosions, introduction of the third axis and power glove/bomb kick becoming built-in abilities
stages made an excellent use of bouncing on top of the bombs, which was pretty much something moved over from 2d games
meanwhile bomberman hero's additions of jumping and free movement pushed the game much into the run-of-the-mill platformer direction where the role of bombs was dramatically reduced and their behavior very different - they mostly serve as a projectile attack and a device for an occasional bomb-kick "puzzle"
>unlike 64's blue dragon and weaboo mechas
much better than static guardian of shit and generic sphinx creature
Why is Konami shitting out Hudson's shovelware?
are there any good Bomberman games for the DS/3DS?
thx
