Hey Sup Forums I have been considering of learning moon so I can play more Japanese games. I have seen people on the Internet thinking of doing the same but has anyone actually done it and is it worth it? I have also seen people saying that all the best stuff has always and will always be translated/localized anyway.
Hey Sup Forums I have been considering of learning moon so I can play more Japanese games...
yes
If you love video games, it's worth it.
If/when I successfully learn moon how do I go about getting Japanese games? I heard Play Asia is a normie trap and that there are better and cheaper alternatives. And what are good Japanese pirate websites for getting older games?
>thinking Otaku is a positive term
>Not Japanese
>Calls himself an Otaku
Sorry mate, you're a weeb.
>Otaku
>moderation
>otaku
>moderation
How do you fuck this up?
If you like japanese RPGs there's a lot of good stuff on Super Nintendo and PS1.
If you don't then there's no reason to learn japanese.
What are some examples that never got outside of Japan?
>grammer
>will use proper "grammer"
LOL
If you call yourself an otaku and you're not Japanese, you're 100% certainly a weeaboo.
So the person who made that drawing has no idea what an Otaku is?
I want to fuck that weeaboo loli.
...
Otakus and weebs are the same
Why not?
I can, I just don't want to
Fuck you
>proper grammer
Look to other boards for DJT threads.
I think int and other ones have these too.
I don't particularly recommend starting in learning, unless you are willing to make a lifetime commitment to it. There is a wide gulf of difference between "knowing enough Japanese to play and vaguely understand video games" and "knowing Japanese". Prepare to spend several years of study before you have proficiency beyond a fifth grader.
The more I study, the less I feel like I truly know.
All that said, I still think the pursuit and retention of knowledge is better than doing nothing, so it might help you give focus to your life or otherwise help you determine what you truly want to do with your time.
Bear in mind that no matter how much Japanese you know, they will always think you are retarded, so it's up to you to determine how much you let that bother you.
