>over 9000
>dead game

over 9000 concurrent players is actually fairly healthy

game looks like shit but apparently somebody likes it

Thats actually quite nice, even though i disliked how repetitive the game was those numbers are pretty high

the fact I have no idea what this game is about and have only come across its title alone with no visuals of any sort of gameplay yet it has 9-15k players regularly means it's not dead

I'm kind of surprised it's still pulling in that amount of players.

>9k players
pic not related?

Those were the numbers Mechwarrior online pulled, now it gets about a few hundred.

Dino D-Day
Day of Defeat: Source
Red Orchestra 2

...

Hawken is dead af.

no it can't be

I just want a big robots game;_;

STOP
KILLING
GAMES

Battlefield 1942

RIP you magnificent bastard

>9k players
>near 15k daily high
did the devs stop making kneejerk reactions every patch that overall ruin the game or is the demand for the genre so high that people put up with their bullshit?

all my friends and I stopped playing DBD when their party matchmaking was completely unbearable, a patch or two after hag.

fun game, but deeply flawed and the devs are hellbent on making it more about a killer's powertrip than competitive asymmetrical, which is a shame.

>/dbdg/ trying to force the "DEAD GAME!" meme again

This is pretty health for a fucking niche game but you morons wouldn't know shit.

Come back to me when you actually experience a dead fucking game.

Fucking Gimbal and Reassembly.
I just want an MP ship construction game.

those numbers would look dead to an underageb& who only plays [insert esport/MOBA here] and watches flavor-of-the-week streamers.

Pic related, a real dead game that died hard.

Lasted far longer than it should have, purely because it was good

Didn't that game get a sequel of sorts

BB

...

some games would dream of that daily player count

Fuck off Ross games will die and there's nothing you can do about it.

WHAT IS THIS
PLEASE LET ME QUIT KANCOLLE

Shut up and do your dailies.

>Average overall peak is around the 10k-15k
>This is dead

You know what the average player count for Ratchet and Clank Full Frontal Assault is?

0, because it's fucking dead.

Kill yourselves faggots. I would kill for even 10 people. You have 10k.

I kinda liked the game when it had a few more players desu

Probably navyfield 2 if i had to guess

And you play kancolle for the anime girls not the gameplay (cause there is none) so what does it matter

Dystopia was better
Would rather have Chromehounds.

...

Shut up and get in my fleet, loud cunt

I literally only know of this game as the super wanna-be "Quake but IN SPACE" that a ton of ultra-competitive youtuber/streamers hyped up and then proceeded to die because most people actually hate being shitstomped by competitive-minded people.

Funnily enough, the only person I ever saw hype it up, _ster, is now kind of irrelevant compared to his copycats like Muselk.

The console "expansion" is also dead, I bet.

>Tfw left 4 dead is literally a dead game

One of my favorite multi-player games of all time

>Kancolle
I still can't believe that a game about anthropomorphic boats got so popular

It's only dead because L4D2 might as well just be an expansion pack for L4D.

L4D2 is dead user.

>10k to 15k concurrent players
>dead
No.

99% multiplayer source mods.

reading comprehension

I still play it sometimes but I always end up in horrible lobbies where people don't even buy armor and blame others for their death

rip

Even 3-5K can be considered alive for the right type of game. There's a consistent 4-7K online on Elysium at any given time and the world feels packed and thriving. Not too sure how those numbers translate into a matchmaking system with rankings, but it works out for an MMO

dead games? dead games

Whatever dude.

The first one felt so much more cooperative than the new one. The new one feels like XP farm the game.

undead games

...

hello darkness...

...

...

Not dead, just slowly dying

"MMO" with 3000 people is a dead gaem, friend.

>buy this on release
>despite some issues, really enjoy multiplayer
>friends said they were going to buy it
>they don't
>game dies fast so I quit
>BO3 comes out
>they all buy it
>ask me why I haven't bought it yet

I enjoyed AW more than BO3

Where did it all go wrong?

lol bloodborne is dead becauseit's not in pc gais XD

battleborn.jpg

>Where did it all go wrong?

early december of last year desu

Remember Evolve?

>1k still playing

It went wrong when people with shitty taste continued to play.

I loved this game too

...

No.

>All of those Source mods you'll never be able to play again

:c

>you never played them in the first place

online-only FPS games are hilarious. once they start dying there's no turning back, and no reason to waste your money on that shit since it's ded. Then again that engineered obsolescence is part of the AAA FPS industry; they don't WANT you to keep playing Doom for 30 years they want you to play this year's newest release, Cawadoomyfield 27.

Game was shit, OST was godly

This game had the budget, the marketing and the initial hype that DBD wish it had

And it ended up like this

What the fuck happened?

Planetside isn't doing so well

That's because it's boring as fuck.

...

I'll tell you what happened , DLC UP THE ASS WEEKS BEFORE RELEASE!

To be fair, most people don't use the Steam version of Tera.

Played it recently, lots of people in the starting zone looks healthy to me desu.

How is Tera nowadays?

pretty much

...

youtube.com/watch?v=oM6eZJRurFk

The OST was fucking top-tier.

this game was fun too ;_;

I know it's nothing more than a meme but come on. This is a pathetic amount for a triple A release.

Still ping dependent.

Depending on when you played last they've added a Gunner and Brawler class. New class that uses a spear/glaive coming.

I prefer BnS desu and both are better combat-wise than BDO.

doesn't count players that use just the launcher to play

It's a console title, I'll give it that but those are some sad, sad numbers

you can't make this shit up

People regularly get together to play it on Friday, sometimes Saturday.

Usually get 1 full game going for a few hours.

That's not dead you fucking mongoloid. Try playing a fighting game where all you have is 12 BRs on dial-up.

Fuck off. Sage.

strike vector

so much potential straight down the drain; there is a ps4 version that is what the game should have been when it release, but it is probably just as dead

needs a ps+ free week

What a waste of money

Buying games is such a meme.

I really liked this game, could have been really fun. But every update sucks.

>buying games
Meanwhile a state of a free to play game

Having a steep fucking curve didnt do it any favors. Game is hard as fuck on newcomers, thats the reason I quit playing anyway. Too many other games out there with easier entry barriers.

>Red Orchestra 2 is dead
>several full servers at this moment

I wish this meme would die

>DOD:S
this one makes me sad. I'm also banned from all the populated servers for 'aimbot' (actually just being gud with rifle)

lots of the games I see here seem to be what youtubes play for a bit and get sick of quick too.
