doujins when?
after you died irl
I want to fuck Impa
inb4 hurr durr, gear wall, why can't I kill guardians with sticks, I refuse to learn to parry
where is her mole?
>kill dragon
>get nothing unique just a walk up stairs shrine
t-thanks
you can kill them with a pot lid and have it still intact
I love this game senpai man this year is great already Nioh Zelda
So is parrying their lasers the best way to kill them? Someone said you can go to Robbie to get arrows that deal with them nicely too.
parrying requires skill
arrows require aim
How do I disable slow mo
Fun mode: Cut their legs off with guardian weapons and kill them with your worst weapons
EZ mode: Full Barbarian set + 5 arrow bow + Ancient Arrows (as found at Robbie's)
Stupid mode: Bomb them to death
Hard mode: Parry lasers with pot lid
As for the flying guardians, I haven't found a good way to destroy them other than ancient arrows.
FUCK OFF there's already fifty on the catalog you stupid nigger
sage
Guys... path of the hidden winds shrine?
what the game does right:
>literally being able to climb on mountains
>weather actually affects gameplay
>ability to literally go anywhere you want, even the end-game dungeon
>physics interaction with puzzles and enemies (even though this is largely ripped off of HL2, but it's still a great mechanic)
>the concept of needing to "control" dungeons to some extent in order to solve the puzzles within them is really unique and should be expanded upon in future Zelda games
>game offers much more combat difficulty than previous Zelda
What it does wrong:
>pretty much everything else, especially the classic elements Zelda is known for (dungeons, great music, simple yet charming and memorable story, etc)
The game is FAR from a 9 or a 10, more like a 7 or an 8 at best, but it does set some solid basic groundwork for upcoming Zelda games in the future. The big question is whether or not the current Zelda team is able to expand on this same framework properly, because they couldn't even surpass the format that Ocarina of Time created. The closest that came to doing so was MM, but it lacked a few more dungeons. Meanwhile TP had a great classic dungeon format, but a terrible overworld and sidequests.
If Nintendo doesn't fuck up future establishments with pointless gimmick shit and actually manages to deliver on the classic Zelda aspects that are sorely missing from BoTW, then they really could make the next OoT or MM.
>play game on gf's switch
>get addicted, want my own switch with BotW
>CANT TRANSFER MY SAVE FILE
Damn Nintendo. You really hate sales.
>a repairable ice spear
>nothing
literally what
>not buying the switch, BOTW + DLC so you can directly start with hard mode
do you even LOVE your GF?
I don't want to start from scratch.
where does it say on the item you can repair it?
nvm found it
Does anyone else think that they fucked up with the Champions? I mean, they're great designs and characters, but there's so little content to most of them, that it leaves you wanting more than the game gives you.
Are you doing the memories?
>mfw I finally managed to track down a copy
Pointers lads? Do I get off the plateau as soon as possible or just do whatever?
It's depressing as shit that they're all apparently dead now. I guess that's the kind of melancholy they're going for, but I'd have liked to interact with them more instead of just getting flashbacks.
I think it's fine. makes for a great hype moment at the end when they get their revenge.
i think they fucked up with the rito village though.
>every other village is having major troubles
>the bird village just has reckless idiots who are attacking their divine beast because it's...just flying up above....MENACINGLY!
You get paraglider and do whatever. It's just like any other open world game - Explore, do side-quests, or just do story.
It attacks them if they fly high up, which is a terrible thing for a bird race
How many shrines are there per zone? 4?
Zelda is dead, right?
It varies, I've found five in one area already, also some are locked behind Kass' riddles.
>tfw you got past the manu on cemu
gonna post it on reddit tommorow
Don't go where the game tells you when you're given freedom to leave the plateau. Climb up really high and pick a direction, look for something interesting, then pin it with your scope. Go to that spot before you do anything else, and then go from there. Really just pick a direction and fuck off to it and you'll have the most fun.
There's more than that. There's 120 shrines total.
*blocks your path*
The first thing you should do is go into options and enable the Pro UI
I know there is that many in general but I don't want to leave zones without discovering them all so I can go back to them later.
these tiny little mini puzzles to get korok seeds are nice, the map feels packed full of them, atleast the places I've been anyways
The terrible pop in makes Korok hunting annoying as fuck since the zoom will only show you big features and muddy textures.
These things are as easy to kill as any other monster in the game. The big secret is staying topped off so no 1hko.
Kind of bad imo
Purah is cute! CUTE!
Wait holy shit there are HARDER Lynels? I haven't killed one yet, but the one near Laynaru fucking saw me when I was spying on him from a goddamn mountain and rained ice arrows on my ass
>tfw we are entering into a new golden age of Nintendo development on the Switch
The new Mario is going to be like this. It's going to be new and big and fun and blow every game before it out of the water.
Why are all the normal npc's so fucking ugly outside of paya
>the map feels packed full of them
Probably because there's 900, although I would imagine most people lose interest after ~20
The only area I don't personally like the look of in SMO is that forest/construction dome. The colors are really jarring for some reason.
The game looks amazing though. Here's to hoping they haven't revealed all the areas yet, and that there are at least 2+ more locations.
They're not see
Things that aren't immediately obvious:
- You can dash in stealth without breaking it.
reminder that you need at least 13 hearts to pull out the Master Sword
Holy dicks that fortification around Lake Tower was dank. One Wizzrobe endlessly rained death until I finally took him out.
Is there a purpose to the dragon that swims around Lake Hylia? He doesn't appear to be corrupted like the one on Mount Lanayru.
Yeah, but the point of the Korok puzzles is that you aren't actively looking for them until maybe endgame, you're coming upon them during exploration or your travels.
Did you at least kill the Hinox and yes there are much harder ones the one you saw is the weakest.
Where do I find the big ol Korok after the initial upgrades near Kakariko?
Go down the road that is on the opposite of the village of the shrine and take a right, he's an obese Korok you literally can't miss him.
There's also a Korok seed to be found on the way.
Shoot arrows at him and make him drop scales/claws/horns, which are items used in quests and equipments upgrades
he creates wind currents around him that make him easy to follow with the paraglider, but if you get too close him you'll be hit with ball electricity. I haven't tried attacking him yet in case he's permanently aggroed, I've seen him around too many areas so that'd be a pain in the ass to deal with.
The only other dragon I've seen so far is the Ice one northeast of Hateno village, but my cold res shit wasn't good enough to get close enough to really see it, I only snapped a blurry pic
There is one at Riverside Stable. In whatever region is right in the center. The only place I have seen one.
I mean after the first two upgrades. He leaves.
Finally got the Cemu version to run at a locked 60fps.
a little bit southeast of hyrule castle there's a stable and he's right behind it, that's where I found him after my first encounter
>not using pro hud
Why is everyone casual. No one knows how to have fun for real.
Where do you find Ganondorf's horse?
I don't really care for your gate keeping, but after I turned the Pro hud on I can't play without it.
If I wanna fight ganon immediately after leaving the plateau where do I go to find weapons that will last through the boss rush endurance section?
You don't, there's no ganondorf
No, she isn't
What's an easy recipe for mad money?
I heard about 2x Chicken + 2x ??? for something that can be sold for 90rupees.
see
Hyrule castle itself
So is the Wii U version a good enough alternative to the Switch?
Take apples to keep his health up on the run back, watch out for the lionel, make your way towards the road to the north. You should run into a stable eventually
From what I've seen basically identical.
Does he ever stay in one spot or does he constantly move? He told me he was going to Kokiri Forest.
woops
I've seen people saying you can find OoT Ganondorf's black horse with red mane.
Where is he though?
The ones with maces will fuck your shit up if you've been relying on shields.
I have the wiiu version. Framerate drops happen occasionally but the overall experience is generally good and pretty much the same to the switch version aside from resolution and draw distance.
...
Awesome, thanks user
No idea. He might move around as story progresses or something.
dammit i really wanna the bird
I swear I read that as ganondorf's house, apologies
I wanna the Zoras.
No
stupid question but how do you use Magneneis on the wii u version? I have the option on the top D pad but when I press it the magnet appears in the center of the screen but i can't seem to do anything with it. Have pressed every button on the gamepad and tried to use motion controls but nothing is happening. Help a dumb ass plz
what are you gay?
Alright guys, time to go say hi to the Deku tree. Should be fun.
shit there's actually enough there to make it work? That was thoughtful of them
>The game is FAR from a 9 or a 10
(You)
What do you get for killing enough deers within one minute in Hatano?
Where did you get that trident?
WHY COULDN'T GET AN ACTUAL BRITISH PERSON FOR THE BRITISH ACCENT INSTEAD OF A FUCKING AMERIFAT TRYING THEIR BEST TO BE BRITISH
From the Zoras. You can repair it if it breaks.
Yeah.
And there are weapons laying around in the chamber where you actually fight ganon
lol is she really American? The voice acting in general sounds.. distant.. for the most part. It's not that great, but it's nice to see.
D-pad up brings up the menu where you'll pick your current usable rune. Then the rune is used by pressing L1.
Real British accents sound fake to Americans. We're doing to you what we did to pizza and the world is thanking us.
no
The Zora crafter to the right of the entrance of zoras domains fucking says so.
