Why is it sofucking hard to put on screen protectors?
Don't put it on when it's raining
Because you did it wrong
are you choking?
Aren't you supposed to peel that shit off anyway? Why does it matter?
PM'd u the fix
>not knowing how to put on a screen protector
>not using anything but your hands
>not even googling how it's done
>he fell for the screen protector meme
>he doesn't buy spare screens for a few bucks years down the line and replace them himself
...
They made 'em super convenient for phones now. It has it's own disposable applicator frame.
Thanks, that did the trick!
You're supposed to put it on to stop the screen from getting smudged or scratched. Especially important with the Switch, as its possible to scratch the screen if you line it up wrong just trying to charge it in the cradle.
How do you fuck up that badly?
try not being retarded
OP here, I realised I was using the wrong thing as the screen protector. This is actually the little bit of cover that goes over it, which is why it wasn't sticking right.
Problem is, I put the REAL screen protector down on carpet and now its filled with fluff. What now bros?
>Get it into position nicely with the film still on
>Tape one side to the console
>Open it like a book cover
>Remove the film, let the protective screen fall into position
>Press to remove the air bubbles
>Untape it
There, it works flawlessy.
You may as well end yourself now seeing as you can barely function as a human being.
Kill yourself, probably.
lick the fluff off the screen protector
fucking casual learn how to squeeg
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA *garpsing for air*. HAHAHA.
What even is this? it kind of looks like candy or something.
Y u not get a tempered glass protector?
>garpsing
...
>Buy a gadget that was specifically engineered to have a sturdy screen
>Buy a screen protector anyway to completely ruin the looks of it
And here I thought my dad was retarded
>Americans
Ahhh, right. Surely you could do the same thing with anything with a flat edge though?
What are those posts
Switch screen is made of plastic tho
Yeah but decal squeegees are made with a softish material to help keep from scraping shit.
>You browse this board with imbeciles who cant even put on a fucking screen protector
>>You browse this board with tripfags who think their opinion matters on literally anything
So are we all going to pretend we didn't have trouble with screen protectors at least once in our lives?
And? A lot of handhelds are using plexiglass and I don't see anybody ever having a problem with it.
dude you must fail at life if you can't even apply a screen protector
your room also must be dusty as fuck if you got that many airbubbles.
Ive also put the sealing film on the screen the first time.
>you browse this board
It scratches easily.
this
take some clear tape and use it to pull the lint off, just don't be a retard again and get the tape stuck to the screen protector.
With a smartphone and actually going outside, you'd have picked this skill up long time ago.
It's funny how easy it is to spot the basement dwellers
>shitty plastic screen instead of scratch-resistant glass
>current year
>Clean screen as good as possible with the cloth that comes with it
>Cover screen with cloth so that no extra dust falls on it
>Remove protective covering from screen protector and apply it with lightning speed
>Still some dust under it, resulting in permanent air bubbles
Every fucking time.
Seriously, when did that subhuman start believing his opinions matter?
Dont waste time with the plastic ones, get a glass one. They go on super easy. I normally put them on in the bathroom after a hot shower. The steam keeps the dust down so you get a clean application.
Picked up this skill? Anyone normal would pay a store to apply it for them. That's what everyone does.
Said nobody ever.
The only time scratches happen is if you purposely try to scratch it with a knife or throw it against sharp corners. None of which happens in regular use. That shit is designed to be resistant to basic scratches.
So, where you get one from? Because I was genuinely going to just cut out a piece of that plastic wrap you put around schoolbooks and use that.
>using a screen protector on a modern day smart phone
Did you also buy winrar?
where is the best place to get a good deal on monitors/tvs?
no, they suck
but at the fucking least look up on youtube how to apply that shit to minimize going full retard
Pay? I've seen places that do it for free.
Wouldn't the glass smudge though? It won't scratch sure but it gets dirty all the same.

Be careful with anything that's a sticker, the finish on the switch is kinda shitty and the sticker wrecks it
No more then the regular screen or your smart phone, plus you are not touching the screen a lot.
check out the brain on brad
doesn't this affect the touch ability too much?
otherwise it looks good
I always buy the display model for a discount
The act of docking the device itself scratches the screen. Say what you want about the properties of the plastic, but there are lots of harder things around in your everyday environment that will scratch it.

even the dock seems to scratch it
the reports are real and it's fucked
i was planning on getting one of those tempered glass ones.
does it end up rubbing up against the dock because the glass sticks out a little?
The thumbnail in the catalog made it looks like cum.
Not at all, they have been in use on smart phones forever and they are much more touch focused then the switch.
I made the switch from plastic protector to glass a while back for my phones. I can't ever go back to shitty plastic. I would even say it feels better on the switch since the glass feels nicer under your finger tip
Close, my name is Chad
Not at all, remeber you got people putting felt tape and shit on the inside of the dock and the switch still fits.
Anything with a soft edge to prevent scratching/tearing will do.
How do you have it already? Mine isn't shipping until the middle of the month.
>does it end up rubbing up against the dock because the glass sticks out a little?
Even if it did it wouldn't scratch, tempered glass is way harder than plastic.
I ordered it like a month ago, had it in my hand before launch of the switch.
Are they easier to apply because they're stiff?
And I've heard about applying screen protectors after a shower, but wouldn't the steam fuck up the console?
If you moved out of your mothers' basement, you'd need a set of keys. Consequently I can assume mummy buys stuff off Amazon for you, so you must have no need for coins as well.
Those scratch screens, regardless if they're sapphire glass or Gorilla Glass. A glass screen protector helps a lot.
That makes sense user, good work. Leaving mine in the dock until this arrives.
Gonna be waiting on this baby too - amazon.com
Only way to play at solid FPS and charge at the same time I guess.
Screen protectors are a fucking meme, the glass they use these days won't get scratched by anything softer than metal.
I've used my S3 every day for years without a screen protector and it has no scratches on it.
Aren't you that faggot kurokawa?
Didn't you pretend to have a gf post on Sup Forums?
If you can build a PC, you can put on a protector.
the switch screen is made out of cardboard, user
>the glass they use these days
lolwat? It's plastic mate.
I've never had an issue with the steam trick. Done it with 3DS, cellphones, Vita, PSP, ect. It just keeps the dust down
Yeah, i play a lot at work and end up rigging something up on my desk to keep the port free. I need a better charger too. My cellphone charger gives me like 5ish hours of playtime at a decent brightness level. I might end up getting another dock and just plug it into my work monitor.
>I've never had an issue with the steam trick. Done it with 3DS, cellphones, Vita, PSP, ect. It just keeps the dust down
I should try that then, every screen protector I've ever applied has at least one piece of dust under it.
How fucking stupid do you have to be to keep your keys in the same pocket as your phone
Just kill yourself already.
Dude you need to push those air bubbles with a card or something, then remove the top layer of the protector.
It works great, make sure the screen is clean before you apply. I dont use any of the bullshit that comes with the protector. I use a microfiber and a 50/50 mix of distilled water and running alcohol
I have more than one pocket. Why the fuck would i put anything in the same pocket as my phone?
Theres one simple trick to putting it on without having any trouble. Its called not having an epileptic attack
