Good character designs, a quirky OST, and an all-around fun idea for a main game mechanic.

Fun, easy to pick up and understand, colorful characters and world, actual fucking marketing from Nintendo.
The west loves shooters, the East loves Squids.
Mix both and succeed.

I genuinely don't know myself. The game was disgustingly easy, and sadly as a console shooter I was expecting that.
The fact that I beat DJ Octavio without even using gyro, AND without losing to him, made me laugh. THIS is the "big title" Nintendo was pushing for the WiiU. Pathetic.

I don't know why you're implying the four hour afterthought of a campaign was the main draw when this is obviously a multiplayer-centric title.
I hate this artist so much.
It's a solid game and Wii U had no other games.
So, yea, no surprise there.
Correct.
A multiplayer centric title should not be anything over 20 dollars. Especially a console shooter that doesn't let you use KBM.
