How is this arguable? I'm serious, what makes Dark Souls better than Demon's Souls?

It's multiplat

Most people started with Dark Souls instead of Demon's Souls

i spent a stupid amount of time with dark, but demon's was so fun.

I like them both pretty equal, I liked the way the world connected in dark souls more.
False king allant>Gwyn though

Dark Souls is a better game overall imo. The world is well designed and it's balanced better. But Demon's Souls has a charm in its atmosphere, characters, and just how ballsy it was for its time to do shit like halve your max health when you die. Dark Souls can't touch that stuff.

I STILL replay DeS once or a twice a year since it came out in 2009. It's my fave. Was also my first Souls game so that may be why, I don't know. I think I'd still love it even if it wasn't my first.

The closest this entire series has come to the emotional impact of killing Saint Astraea is Sif limping.

I'm guessing the fact that most of darksouls vanilla bosses are lame as hell

Better world building and an interconnected world.

this

the only thing I liked more about demon's souls was how tragic it all felt. Combat, bosses and enemies were all more interesting in Dark Souls

Combat and world design. And Estus.

>get to the monk boss in 2015
>somebody is actually invading as him

dude I replayed it last year and I got someone. They were using the blueblood sword and whooped my ass. I forgot how to pvp in that game. I also put my sign down in front of the maneaters and I became the old monk boss. The dude never made it to me though. Pretty sure one of the mindflayers got him. Poor dude.

whoops wrong pic what the fuck. oh well.

Bladestone farming in DeS was fucking bullshit.

They both have their strengths and weaknesses that balance each other out to being about equal IMO.

Bloodborne is the best game in the "series"

Overall, DaS is better than DeS in every way. Only nostalgia-fags think otherwise

>go offline
>turn World 4 to pure black tendency
>start from entry point #3
>go backwards and use soul trap on those golden bastards
I didn't have any issues.

DaS doesn't have the Maiden in Black though, so....

>How is this arguable?
It's not. What you post is true.

i got like 1m souls off of them pre NG+
