Try playing either Torchlight 1 or 2, The Sims 2 will run on toasters heck maybe even Sims 3.

Morrowind or if your computer can handle it Oblivion, just for that comfy feel of being in city's or towns, getting your own place and putting all your loot you have collected over your journeys in the old coast.

Any pre 2005 era MMO where you can do similar things as being in towns and appreciating the scenery.
