I haven't played it but it looks to cartoony for me to enjoy it even though Sup Forums won't stop sucking it off

Very underrated game.

I just started it and I feel the same, everything's super cartoony and colorful and it's not my thing.

Same reason why I just couldn't play NWN2.

It's an absolutely outstanding game for 2005.

Unfortunately it came out in 2012, when the vast majority of its gameplay mechanics and storytelling methods were woefully outdated.

It's a Theme Park fantasy game, like WoW. That kinda thing doesn't cut it anymore.

I really can't decide if I want to play it or not, and haven't been able to decide since it came out.

It kinda gives me a Fable feel, but I really only fondly remember Fable because of the /comfy/

It's Skyrim with better combat in a fantasy setting instead of a medieval setting.

Besides combat it is very mediocre and generic.

Outside the DLC regions it's simply too large for it's own good. BHG could have condensed the game, even cut out a lot of the filler, and it would have been better for it.

If you want a single-player WoW, this will probably do it for you. Quest-hubs with several quests to gather up, then go do, and hand-in all at once. All typically killing things, often in a dungeon crawl.

How's the character progression? On a scale of Dark Souls 2/ZHP Eternal Ranger to Borderlands?

How does endgame armour look? Is it gaudy WoW shit?

Hows map navigability?
