I wanted to beat this before Nier Automata, but the final boss... the fucking final boss... even with a youtube timing guide, I STILL CAN'T DO IT.

Should I just watch the ending on Youtube? I've been at it for 3 hours now.

I beat it by sync it to a youtube video. I don't know why that method is giving you so much trouble. It only took me a few tries with the video and that was mainly because I had trouble getting a good sync or the one time I was doing great and the video decided to buffer.

Literally get good. I beat it in around 4 hours of attempts without using a timing video. It's straight up just 4/4 time, you can count it out. The only true bullshit part is the last note

DID IT Sup ForumsROS! I did need the youtube video though (got to One without it), I must have been slightly off sync when I failed all the other times, usually failing right near the end. I shut my ps3 off, but decided to give it one more go. Success. Now I'm ready for Nier Automata.

How did you manage to grind gazillions for branch D access? I had to quit the game. Side missions gave jack shit

I do have the DLC. I did only did One's chapters so far for money (needed to buy the rest of the weapons) because the chests in them give you shitloads of cash.

If you play the final boss for 1 hr a day it should not take you any longer than a week to beat it.

You want heartache? Play Two's Prologue.
You want crazy? Play Four's.

One of Accord's quests, IIRC the first or second of the one where you have to use the chakram is easy enough to where you can grind out the payday for chakram as well and just do that over and over again.

PS3 has three box styles. The vertical Spiderman font was used before the PS3 slims came out. The horizontal black PS3 header is the most commonly used. The blue headers were used around the time the PS4 came out and wasn't used for very long before they switched back.

Clemps has been in Nier threads a while back. He posted the first two Drakengard videos and they had less than a thousand view.

He may get more attention on reddit but he was a Sup Forumsirgin at first.

This is gonna sound very autistic, but does anyone else here get slightly perturbed when a video tells them something they already know? For example, superbunnyhop recently put out a video called "what you missed from Nier". Even the title of the video makes me slightly annoyed.

I feel the same way user. Both with video games and outside of games alike.

I assume it has something to do with pride, ego or arrogance or something. I usually end up skipping around in tutorial or analysis videos because I'll end up pissed as fuck if I have to listen to what I know too much.

Has the consensus on this game here changed yet? I remember I fucking loved it but everyone here was just complaining about how shit it supposedly is when it came out. Everyone was saying that Nier and Drakengard 1 are the only good Taro games.

I honestly enjoyed Drakengard 3 more than 1.

I get the same way. I watched Clemp's "analysis" of DoD3 and I got pretty annoyed because all it is is just a story recap and I'm just sitting there going "I already know this".

Terrible frame rate tends to knock down a lot of opinions.

I liked it. The framerate was about the only flaw I could find, but it didn't make the game unplayable. Although, some of the swearing did seem a bit forced.

I'm playing through DoD3 and the only parts that piss me off are 1 note characters with no depth, the plot was boring until Branch C when Accord actually starts showing up and the FULL plot starts shining through and how none of the sisters are satisfying to kill because they don't get enough screen time to be fleshed out.

The framerate is annoying, but it's not a deal breaker for me.

Mate this whole thread is about a rhythm game sequence.

If you don't like a whole genre that's fine, but for those who do enjoy rhythm games Project Diva is a pretty fun one.
