>Oblivion

This leveling system makes me wanna break down and cry.

how come? I never really had an issue with it

I'm just trying to get +5s but my god its a chore, and now my shield broke and a mudcrab gave me a disease and I have no money.
I just wanted to summon daedras.

>conjuration

found the issue

>never sleep because no point
>become a god since your skills never stagnate but the world does

>tfw comfy arena had a bed in it :^)

I've done the tutorial like 6 times now, kill me Picard.

How do I make an op character in vanilla morrowind?

Uninstall morrowind and install a better Elder Scrolls game.

Well one way is making a spell that drains the fuck outta whatever skill you like and then training that drained skill.

>Play Morrowind.
>Spend time in towns talking with traders, learning who belongs to what faction, seeing what house rules, etc.

>Play modern open world game
>Run through town seeing nothing more than useless assets and never look back once my quests are done

Was I just autistic when I was a kid or do towns in modern open world games feel dull and lifeless compared to Morrowind?

>find a mod to fix the leveling
>it comes packaged with a metric fuckton of extraneous bullshit I don't want

Oh god don't get me started with the mods to "fix" leveling, Jesus Christ so much baggage I'd rather deal with this vanilla crap. At least it's already here giving me a headache.

Which daedra prince would you pledge yourself too?

Jyggalag for me, I think it would be fun to work for the fun police

I just use console commands to make up the difference. It barely takes any time even.

>I think it would be fun to work for the fun police
>fun
Well off to Jyggajail with you!

Morrowind felt lifeless to me sometimes

Alot of the NPCs are just lore machines that shit out information on you

That's npcs in general tho

>Jyggajail
Made me think of this guy

Oblivion's scheduling was pretty good, though. The fact that NPCs have animations for drinking, sleeping, sitting, reading, all that shit was immersing.
Too bad they simplified NPC schedules in Skyrim. I appreciated how handcrafted some of them were, like Quill-Weave leaving town one day out of the month to travel to Chorrol to visit a friend.
