The problem with VR is as follows
-if you design a game specifically around VR so its integral to the game, then you're making a "VR exclusive" that will get incredibly low sales because hardly anyone actually has a VR headset (+ hardware powerful enough to take advantage)
-if you make VR optional so you can sell your game to non-VR players as well, then you have to make VR non-integral to the experience. It then just becomes superfluous and pointless.
It's a catch-22. VR simply isn't viable. And it won't be until we get to the point in time where VR technology comes standard with every setup, like a mouse or keyboard.

No, they added a new voluntary autobalance system that gives players a reward for swapping, and it works pretty well. Why are you complaining about a game you don't even play?

It didn't, if you wanted an obscure map or mode you had to manually search the server browser for it and refresh repeatedly. With the new system you can set it to search, alttab out, and the game will notify you when it finds that 12v12 cp_process match you wanted.
The tradeoff is 15 seconds of waiting time for normie modes, which you can do while alt-tabbed out on the Internet, which anyone who doesn't have ADHD should be able to handle like a mature adult.

VR simply isn't there yet, on PC at least. The cheapest headset, the Oculus is like $400, you need at least an RX 480 on top of that and hopefully a decent CPU because you need to be getting at least 90fps+ for the experience to be an enjoyable one.
In time it MIGHT become the norm but that's just it, I haven't tried it yet and countless other people haven't either because it costs too much.
Just get off your ass and go to CC. It'll give you both a foot in the door, and some experience in terms of what the professional world expects of you.

I blame that it's kinda drilled during the period of the late 90s early 2000s. At least I think that's where my old idea of it came from.
