Get to 'The Core,' the center of the Universe, except this time there is actual gameplay and no Sean Murray involved. Fight in arenas with your ship, scrap parts off of raiders, pray to space God for temporary power ups. Trade goods for spending money, and either become a space trucker or space trucker escort. Very mod friendly, with an easy to use database. You can even play as Earth itself as your ship, or Sinistar.

A 3D Sonic game made in the Doom engine. One of the oldest fan games out there in existence that is also currently updated. Has a mostly finished campaign, with Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles to play as and individual routes designed in each of the levels for each of them.

Has hidden collectables, NiGHTS stages for Emerald special stages, and has online co-op if you want to do some classic Sonic and Tails co-op. Oh yeah, and it has 32 player death match or CTF because this is basically a stylized Doom game. Pretty moddable but recent updates have made a mass of the old mods incompatible.

I was just playing Ultima VII because I heard it was good and I'm surprised, I'm enjoying it a lot. It's a pretty funny game, something most games aren't today.
