1st for giant horse

...

How do I unlock the completion percentage and what counts toward it?

ZELDA IS CUTE

Sorry user
He was 1st for giant horse

Where do I find that anyways?

Daily reminder you failed to save her.

Didn't realize how close last thread was to post limit.

What's with every hub being embarrassingly small?

I did the Ruto village and that was neatly designed but it was so small when I initially saw it I thought it was a Bokoblin post because it was so small. There's so much verticality to it and yet it feels so desolate. Ultimately just shops and then like four nests. But out of the three I've seen Rito Village is probably the best one just because the sheer size at least gives that illusion of it being a large community similar to how past Zora's domain did, Dragon Roost, and the Goron in OoT and MM.

Then I did the Goron village and it was pretty simple in design just being a flat town. A little personality to it but just felt so small when you compare what we've gotten from Goron in the past. Grand cavernous multi-level structures made you feel like a lot of Goron lived here whereas in this town it feels like the dozen Goron you see are all that exist.

And now I'm doing the Zora and I had heard people say this was their favorite Zora's Domain in the series and while the architecture is cool...is this it? Hell it even feels lacking in NPCs. It's a large structure with no life to it at all. They don't even have the full array of shops. There's nobody sense of live, how and where they live. Compare that to MM where you get an actual domain with Zora chilling everywhere and each band member with customized rooms.

Kakariko was small but still felt kinda lively it's fine being a little ninja mountain village of humans I guess.

I feel like Hateno is the only good sized hub area in the entire game and when you compare it to something like Windfall Island or Clock Town it still feels pretty barren.

With the overworld of BotW being so barren I feel like when you did finally get to an important area they NEEDED to have big impressions but these villages just feel like sidequest locations to pass by on your way to the next big thing.

This is your date for tonight. Say something nice to him.

I WANNA ____ ____ ____.

Is it possible for her to give me the succ?

Where is the Bolson company? I want to get this house quest started.

Did they remove being able to mark enemies and scan them for HP values? I don't want to keep the Champion Shirt on just to look at some numbers.

I hit the platform too many times and I fell off. Now ityon the other side. What do I do?

they might be small but the main theme of botw is post ganon attack so obv. they can't be giant cities. I think the villages are comfy and make up as a good change of pace from the dangerous exploring

Tilt the beast.

So, I kind of ended up in Hyrule Castle... Can I leave when I die?

>modest trial of strength
What the fuck is this and how does it qualify as fucking "Modest"?

I forgot I could do that. Thanks, user!

Yeah, just take off your underwear when she's in her bedroom.

Why is everything so damn foggy? Looks like the entire game happens in a giant bathroom during a hot shower.

The game is telling you that you aren't even close to mid game power yet.

It's less than major.

>Waterblight
>In castle

Did you glitch? Or this straight up just happened?

cont. cause old thread is kill, but is it true that Octoroks can restore your weapon durability or is it bullshit?

I have a Wii U. Not willing to buy a Switch because it seems like complete garbage.

I haven't enjoyed a Zelda game since A Link Between Worlds. Before that, last one I liked was Majora's Mask.

Should I buy this on Wii U?

If it's just a passable game, I'm not interested. I only want to play this if it brings something refreshing and new and captures the sense of wonder and discovery of a true Zelda.

Can't wait for you to find the major test of strength

>With the overworld of BotW being so barren
I feel the complete opposite, it seems like no matter where I am I see something in the distance or something near by that I want to go do.

No, but if you get naked and walk into them things get lewd

A FUCKING FISH WHORE

if they succ in a rusty sword they'll spit out a regular one

...

If you don't cleanse the divine beast, its boss ends up in Sanctum

Did anyone else find a door in the Hebra mountains? That was a really cool cave.

outside of the dps race final laser, they are pretty easy to whittle away without ever getting hit.

Anyone managed to get close/interact with the fire and thunder dragons? I could free the ice one, but I can't do anything with the other two.

Also, is it true you get the green tunic after beating all shrines? And that the monster loving guy sells the dark link set?

POST
>MAJOR TEST OF STRENGTH

this.
it actually rewards exploration
sure you can say HUR DUR items or koroks or whatever but it literally is something that i WANT to seek out. Also the mechanics are just too fucking cool.

I mean shit, I beat it, but I smashed a Lynel sheild, two soldier broadswoards, and a bow in the process after dying like twelve times.
I can't even fucking imagine what actual midgame power is like.
I also forgot to take a picture on the attempt I got it.

He didn't free best girl spirit

anyone know where those big sky dragons are?
i saw a red and yellow one, where do they roost so i can kill them.

I don't know about "true Zelda", dungeons and puzzles are weak if that's what you enjoy, but it definitely has a sense of wonder I haven't gotten from a game for a long time.

Did you miss the story bit that ganon killed 99.99% of the population 100 years ago
If anything the villages are too big

>find a shiekah tower surrounded by deadly goop
>no way to get up there normally
>suddenly, genius strikes
>drop a shitton of wood
>light it
>ride the updraft past the goop

I fucking love moments like those.

fire and thunder dragons drop scales if you shoot them with arrows

She's pure, though. She basically proposed to Link and died before the ceremony.

Interesting. Does this also apply to the other Ganons?

The game is more about exploration than getting sidequests from a hub and running around to do them.
>With the overworld of BotW being so barren
Oh, so you're just trolling. I've never seen a more dense overworld. Every "zone" is taking me around ten hours and I haven't gotten bored yet.

yes, yes and yes.

does anyone have an image with all the memories locations?

>puzzles
>weak
I agree on the dungeons, but the puzzles in this game are more creative than any other Zelda game I've played.

That's what I wanted to know. I'm fine with changes to core mechanics. I just want the feeling. Thx.

its true zelda as in zelda 1
massive open world

i gotta hit them in the sky?
thats really fucking far away man!

Is there any way to re-fight these bosses or did i fuck up when i didn't make a snapshop for the album on the first encounter?
or any other way to get their entry afterwards?

What exactly are those things you want to do though? What is there to do on the overworld other than Bokoblin Encampments, Towers, Shrines and Koroks...

It's been 100 years that's enough time to rebuild. I don't really buy all that. They could have had more interesting cities and found a reason to explain it. You guys are retroactively justifying a decision the developers made using logic the develops wrote to explain it.

They could have just said all the races went to that one stronghold place and hid in a bunker until the champions saved the day. When the champions failed they came back out and rebuilt the remnants of their town. There's numerous reasons they could have given. No need to excuse poor design choices.

>shoot them with arrows
They'll get close.

where in the timeline does this game take place

Bitch, why wouldn't you heal me? I thought you were going to say if someone wanted to hurt me you'd disembowel them. Don't look me in the eyes and say that if I was bleeding to death you would lift a finger like you are some sort of saint because of it.

this

as soon as i started, i thought that this game was the true zelda 2, we just got it about 30 years later

>major test of strength

The second I spoke with her I knew there would be porn. I searched asap. Was very pleased.

>finish Modest Test of Strength with a good deal of my weapons breaking
>glide down to remote island with shrine on it
>mfw Major Test of Strength

What do you think this guy's gonna say about it?

you can make iceblocks on that stuff too iirc

>Puzzles
>Weak
No

>puzzles are weak
>you spend the entire game doing shrines that are more challenging than anything in a past Zelda game
I dont get you people

IS THERE AN ALTERNATIVE ENDING FOR 100%?

What's up with the shooting stars? ive seen them and the light columns where they land, can i actually get anything from them?

Something British.

nah not the tar pits, its this weird black goo attached to the towers that hurt you on contact. Nothing I seemed to do affected it in any way.

I think so. I haven't been to any of the dungeons yet, same the castle.

>Your Highness! We use them to make eyedrops! Have you been talking to that researcher again?

more than 10,000 years after OoT.

>that last flower in the center of the path before the shrine
>GIT OUTTA MAH FLOWERS

You can wait on the hylian bridge for Farosh, he gets pretty close to it. I actually tried jumping onto his back but I got zapped off
no, 100 years after almost all the population gets wiped out means no advanced technology that beat the monsters before. Ganon and his army still alive means that no giant cities could be built. the races all have towns, just smaller in scale. The rest of the world is giant, who cares if the towns aren't all huge

They're super rare upgrade material as far as I know

kinda feel bad for killing enemies after getting the hats from the monster guy and seeing how cute they are when not trying to kill you

Femdom yaoi is my fetish.

>Tfw you're too busy having fun adventures throughout the land to bother actually saving it
Haven't even touched the main quest in two days.

He totally wants to fuck link

Lynel gear is low end user.

So what's the deal with crafting? Is it non-existant? Amber and Luminous Stone descriptions mention crafting. Note that I've only gotten up to Kakariko Village.

stop planting flowers in front of the door then idiot

Literally the Vegita to Link's Goku.

I'm just gonna post it.

They usually come close to the ground/some place you can wait for them on their routes.

It's probably less of a poor design choice and more of a necessity because the game has to run on electronic scrap that's 10 years behind.
Look at how both consoles shit themselves in these small villages, they'd probably go up in flames if there were actual cities.

Kek, I almost got caught by it as well. What a dick move.

If you stomp on the flowers enough times a cutscene plays and she straight up attacks you and takes 3 hearts

>You will never have a woman this devoted to you.

Never played a single zelda.

Come someone give me a quick rundown of the stories of these games chronologically?

I want to marathon them but before I do that I just want an idea of what I'm getting myself into.

>he hasn't gone to major test of strength

>all my friends are dead except my fuggly gf: the game
Glad I called out that this game was going to be shit after the open world meme was announced.

>what's there do to do on the overworld other than all this stuff
Playing with the game's mechanics is fun enough in general and finding all these things and crafting solutions using the world around you is a ton of fun too.

I also like each how tower is almost like a mini puzzle where you have to come up with your own way to get up it like the Ridgeland one that is surrounded by water and Electric Wizzrobes.

The game is just fun as a whole.

git gud

Reminder: you don't have to post on Sup Forums in order to enjoy a game.

You can craft potions and food with effects. Most of the monster bits can be used to make strong potions.

You can also use monster bits to upgrade your armor at the great fairies located throughout the game. Each piece of armor has at least 4 ranks, maybe more but I've only discovered 4 fairies.

Yes. All bosses you haven't beaten have to be fought before the final boss in a boss rush. It's why rushing straight to Hyrule Castle right from the start isn't that good an idea.

Even though Link is probably older than him.

The rest of the world has NOTHING going on. The villages need some life to be a reprieve from the nothingness and feel like there actually is life in this world. You're still using game lore to retroactively excuse weak locales.

And Ganon can't even leave the castle what would stop them from rebuilding?
