that game was a 6/10 at best. collectathon, no bosses, no music/atmosphere and too easy in general. it had so much potential though

...

THE MOST FUCKING BORING GAME IVE EVER PLAYED

...

the game looks great at higher settings, the gore system's amazing, and the gunplay is satisfying

No, that would be GTA IV.

KF2 ain't perfect, but it's pretty good.

This. Combat was garbage except for driving which was decent but could have been expanded on and improved.

>glorified open world bumper car
I playing it right now, it's pretty boring. The unlock system make it even worse.
>hey get out of the car to pick 3 scraps out of the car that trying to kill you 5 minutes ago
fuck that shit, too.

even the driving was bad.
you had to ram enemies a million times over and most of the time the enemies would slow down or just completely stop, making the vehicle combat drag out tediously.
eventually you just say fuck it and get the explosive harpoon at max level and blow up everything in one hit

>9/10
hell no

Build a scrap team, fagger

>assassin's creed with cars

Are you serious?

lmao

Still doesn't make the game any more fun, fagger.

I liked some aspects of the game,
but it was a 7/10 at best.

>9/10
It's a fucking Ubisoft-esque open world game in a desert.
This kind of game is pure shovelware, only good thing it had was optimization.

so much...

you first

>complains about issue with scraps
>tells you the solution
>talks about fun instead

My soccer team could use a goalpost mover as skilled as you

it's a 6/10 at the very best, it's an open world game, that's the most fitting description you can give it, if you've played literally any open world game you have played Mad Max. Combat is literally just clicking the mouse, even easier and basic than Ass Creed or Batman.

whats this?

It's like one of many problem it had, at least make the game more fun to play before focusing on minor detail.

...

This should be 7/10 games. Score inflation has ruined the good old 7/10 game.

spent 6 hours in the middle of the night shouting cannon directions and killing pirate scum 10/10

>5/10 is abysmal.
>10/10 is close to perfect or as perfect as it gets.

I don't see how MAD MAX and Sleeping Dogs don't qualify as 9/10 games.

Anyone else sick of open world games? The main missions always feel boring and there are too many random side missions and far too many collectibles. I can never get around to finishing them.

Mercenaries 1 was the GOAT open world game for me.

For being the best Character Designer and Concept Artist Square has Yoshida's Pre-FFXII Art sure looked rough.

>5/10 is abysmal.
>10/10 is close to perfect or as perfect as it gets.

The last two decades called. They'd like you to get with the program.

I'm not saying the system isn't shitty. It is what it is, though.

They're popular to make because they don't require as much effort on the part of the designers. Just make a huge open area and fill it with some repetitive shit. Only reason people play them is because they get hooked on the skinner box bullshit.

...

I wouldn't say the game is 9/10, but i liked the setting & atmosphere a lot.

>tfw redux looks worse than the original under every circumstance

Hype for 2035

9.5/10 not even baiting

Only 2033

5/10 should be mediocre, only a moron would use current review scores to dictate a 10 point system.

Skate 3 was OK and park creator was a feature I begged for but the world was way too clean. Skate 2's city was grittier and well designed, plus the map feels larger.

Skate 2 also introduced Hall of Meat so by the time 3 came out, some people had spent hours and hours goofing around with 2 so the novelty wore off quickly.

...

Current? It's been this way for twenty fucking years, retard.

Obvious FreeSpace 2

One of the few open world games that really gets it right, I kind of want to play it again now.

I don't give a shit. If everything from 0 to 6 is equally terrible and playable games range from 8 to 10, what's the point of having a 10 point system to begin with?

1-2 are unplayable, 3-4 are shitty and buggy messes like polish FPS, 5-6 are mediocre games you'd pick out of a bargain bin or torrent on a lonely saturday night, 7-8 are pretty good games that a player will like if he's a fan of the genre, 9 is a truly outstanding game that runs a decent chance of GOTY, 10 is something that is certain to stay in history of gaming because of sheer quality and fun.

If a reviewer insists on ranging points from 8.5 to 9.9, he can go eat shit.

Basically the first game in almost any trilogy.
Sure they were respected during their prime, but once the third game came out it tarnished the image of the entire series, and pretty much any future discussions and playthroughs will be connected to the third and therefore tainted.

Why wouldn't 5/10 just be average?

>start game
>open map
>full of ubisoft openworld crap
>close game + deinstalll

Also I'm the only person whose played this it seems

I beta tested this game at their studio ama

do you shoot big cums or are you more of an oozer?

Kek

I love this game.

...

Been playing this non stop since I bought it. Being a captain and telling people what to do feels so good.

...

And I thought night Sup Forums was dumb. Thank you, user.

>CUT HIM OFF AT THE PASS
>WHO THE FUCK EVEN SAYS THAT WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE A COWBOY OR SOMETHING?
i fucking loved that game

i played the demo once had fun flying around. dont remember much about the gameplay tho

good pick

about 3/4 through of my yearly replay now

>Mad Max
>9/10
It was a 7/10 at best, and this is coming from someone who actually liked the game. I'd still recommend it over Shadow of Mordor, though. Not sure why that mediocre slop got such high praise.

>game set in the Mad Max universe
>ammo and especially gasoline eveywhere

Rating things out of 10 predates video games by a large margin you aspire.

Or just use common sense, with a 5/10 being average as all hell and anything above that has varying degrees of above average. It's not hard to do.

...

I love those games but they deserve a 7/10 not a 9/10

Mad Max was a 7/10.
The car combat was the one redeeming feature, and it wasn't fleshed out nearly enough.

I thought Shadow of Morder was shithouse user. I do not understand how so much of Sup Forums can like it.
AC Blackfag too.

...

That's a 5/10

Wasn't even a good representation of the Mad Max series, too many yanks

I miss my 360 just because of that game.

That game could have been 10/10 if they removed all that gay batman combat. 99% of the game should have taken place in the car.

That looks cool. Is it a crpg?

youtube.com/watch?v=_eUf_WnMcGI

mediocre game. decent time sink but it gets repetitive really quick. Without the madmax part and the obsession over V8 engines the game wouldn't even be worth playing

>Bamham combat
>Shitty Max
>Shitty bosses
>Too many collectables
Yeah no

I don't know why more people aren't talking about this.

Oh ya, because unless you are shitting on a game, your a shill. I forgot where I was for minute.

...

Good 7/10. The combat is way too simple and the survival mechanics could have been much better.

8/10. Similar to Mad Max at least, really needs a sequel.

9/10, as the cover says. I saw talk of it yesterday in a thread. One of the best PS2 games ever.

Still better than all the other games QD made after it.

first half yes, but i prefer Heavy Rain, because it's more consistent and doesn't go batshit insane like FH or beyond: ts

I enjoyed how batshit it goes exactly because it allowed itself to go batshit. A lot of games just take themselves too seriously for the sake of keeping it simple for the average player to a point of stagnation storywise.

Also, you cannot tell me that the barely challenging gameplay of HR is better than the unforgiving yet satisfying gameplay of FH.

>tfw HoE has become nearly impossible with Gorefiends
I love this game, but it still has so many problems that piss me off like bullshit spawns and enemy hit detection.

>Game gets cracked
>Suddenly Sup Forums can't stop praising it

Really makes you think...

who cares

I'm a Mad Max fag so I like it a lot but even I have to admit that it's pretty fucking repetitive

Still, driving around is comfy as fuck. And the wasteland is beautiful

Idk about 9/10 but it was awesome but hardly anyone played on ps3
Bots was still a lot of fun though

Fucking this. I still dream of a prequel set in the Dragon Campaign

Awesome game. GFWL killed it on PC. Gearbox killed TimeGate so no 3rd game.

You guys have stockholm syndrome from not refunding it when you had the chance?

I haven't heard that word in a long time
