I dunno what this thread is about but I bet I can guess and relate. Back when I played ffxi we were casually farming af2. At that point level cap was 99 and all the high end gear from other things made Dynamis a cake walk. Thf af2 dropped and I barely lost the lot, got pissed, asked the person if they'd leave the party so I could get the drop, then just kicked them.

I have no idea what the fuck. I was pissed at myself for days and still can't believe I did that. Spent the next few days making it a mission to get that guy the drop. I hate people that do that shit and am baffled that I did that.

I never did that sorta shit before or after that, so I've no fucking idea. I'd say MMOs do weird shit to you at times but maybe I'm just an asshole.

Could someone explain how drops work in WOW? Like does it show what's available and then part members vote on who it should go to or something? I don't understand what this guy was expecting people to do, and it seems weird that it shows drops before the people getting them are decided.
