ZELDA RUNS BETTER ON WII U
Other urls found in this thread:
It doesn't run better, retard. They both drop to 20, but in different areas because the world is partitioned differently.
NINTENKEKS ON SUICIDE WATCH
Nintendo is just trying to catch up to its competitors. A cinematic 20 fps are just a part of that philosophy.
remember when OoT played at 20 fps the whole way through
remember how that game came out in NINETEEN NINETY FUCKING SIX, OVER 20 YEARS AGO?
Both run equally shitty, the framedrops just happen in differrent areas. But nah, lets just make more console war shitposting threads.
yeah and I remember how I didn't give a shit then or now
>nigtendloids
>in charge of having good hardware
what is progress amirite lol
it certainly isn't raw framerate
It's ok
Are you literally saying 20fps is acceptable in 2017?
P-PLEASE STOP BULLYING US
I bet you defend 60 fps in 2017 you parasite.
2017 is 144hz.
60hz is fucking 2004.
I want you to include CEMU comparison shots on these though
>That's the exact same FPS that OoT ran at on N64
and it's still better than anything that's come out in the last year.
reminder that it's better to play undocked.
Really though why can't console games give a few graphic options for people who want a higher frame rate.
you forgot the best part
>BOTW switch runs 20fps WHEN DOCKED
>in handheld mode it reaches and maintains 30fps except for obvious areas where someone can expect frames to drop (like large explosions or many enemies rendered at once)
for some sections are you forced to use it as a handheld for motion control puzzles or does the switch pro controller have the motion controls added?
>muh fps
>muh game is shit because it does not run on 60 fps
PKEK
>OoT
>came out in 1996
what the hell am I reading
I just played both Zelda and the new Nier. Why can't these fucking open world games have a steady framerate to save their lives? both games drop frames to the point where I'm thinking my consoles are gonna blow the fuck up. And I played that zelda on the Wii U.
I say it's perfectly fine.
Fuk u
This can't be real right ?
What's even the point of getting a switch if you can get a cheap used wii u to play zelda
even my 2005 pc could run games better than 20 fps
that's right, nintentoddler.
below 100fps is fucking shite
There's a question.
Your mother came in 96.
They both slow down but at different points. Also the Switch version is running at a higher resolution.
And last but not least, it won't be long until we get 60fps BotW. It's already running ingame on Cemu (though it runs like crap at the moment, not at all optimized).
yea right I can run Undertale in 200 fps
but I own a WiiU OP.
Well, no, Undertale is 30fps.
lol really?
Do you really think you can fool anyone with your shitposting? I will lmaoing at your life in a few months when I am emulating BOTW in 4k you nigtendloid.
Except it doesn't.
Portable Switch > TV Switch > Wii U
The fact is the Wii U version is slightly more downgraded than the Switch version which implies the game can run a little better in some rare areas but it does run a lot worse 85% of the time.
WiiU version runs on 720. Docked switch run at 900 and portable 720.
It's gamemaker
>first it was day one now its in a few months
Can't wait when you cucks say in years.
Probably when she gave birth to him.
>Can't wait when you cucks say in years.
I doubt it will be years, it's already running on an emulator. Won't take too long to optimize it.
Whoever said day 1 was an idiot though. Some games do take years to get running on an emulator. Some games take even longer. BotW won't be one of those though considering how quickly they got ingame working.
Wii u's aren't cheap. They're still fucking full price new. It's bullshit.
Sure we will see my PCbro. Meanwhile I have fun with Zelda.
hashaahahahahahahahaahahah
80-90 hz is optimal for human eye ( something something retina does micromovements at this rate ), beyond that and diminishing returns kick in, where the extra information is not being utilized by eyes and brain
Oh, don't get me wrong, I'm not waiting for the emulator. Zelda is coming in the mail tomorrow and I'm going to go hunting for a Switch next weekend when they're hopefully back in stock.
I see the Switch as a handheld system. As far as I'm concerned the TV stuff is like a built in Playstation TV or something of that nature. The Switch is an overpowered handheld as far as I'm concerned.
I can easily get wii u's for less than 150€
Screw diminishing returns. The human eye can't tell the difference between ~250hz (person to person) and real life, so until we hit that I say we keep going higher.
>2.5h battery life
>oversized
>detachable joycons gimmick
its just as good as a handheld as it is as a home console
>living in the Eurabian Caliphate
Some parts Switch goes to 20 FPS, and other parts the Wii U goes to 20 FPS. OP isn't including all the info.
.5h battery life
I'm pretty sure under load it's clocked in at better than that. I swear that number keeps going down everytime people repeat it.
3-4 hours is a little light but I doubt I'll be in danger of hitting that without being able to plug it in.
And while I don't have it I've seen size comparisons that clock it in as barely bigger than my 3DS XL.
Also when the Switch is undocked it runs just fine.
Which actually has me confused. Does the Switch not underclock itself while undocked? That seems like poor power management. I get that 720p is easier to render than 900p, but you'd assume the Switch itself would be weaker due to underclocking.
making bloodborne run at 250hz won't make it look like real life
if anything, it will make the not perfect animations and various graphical oddities even more apparent and jarring
in case you were blind, the game looks quite a bit better when its docked, and its not just the resolution
Did you also make multiple metacritic accounts to give BotW a bunch of 0's?
pooicide watch
stable 30 undocked
this is embarrassing
