Could this have gone any worse for Nintendo?

First the Wii U and now this. Wouldn't be surprised if Nintendo left the hardware market after this.

Well...

>Defective on launch, bricked if you got bad luck
>Barely portable, doesn't fit in pockets, you have to take a bagpack just to play a game outside
>Joycons are extremely fragile and with range problems
>Can't put stickers on joycons, you can on the ps4 and xbone controllers
>No browser
>No voice chat without smartphone
>Pro Controller extremely expensive
>Can't play while charging, cable gets in the way, have to buy a stand that is sold separately
>Stand is extremely faulty, it falls all the time, even worse when plane takes a turn
>No worth exclusives
>TV mode hinders FPS performance
>UI sucks really bad with the minimalism trend
>Comes with dead pixels you can't fix
>Screen is TN, not IPS
>Huge bezel, screen is way too tiny
>Can't use Ethernet or USB ports, only unstable Wifi not suited for online gaming
>Hard to buy it due to artificial scarcity
>Paid online
>Continuous Wifi connectivity problems due to Security Protocols incompatibility
>Looks like a fisherprice toy, you'll be ridiculed if you play it outside
>Outdated graphics
>Underpowered hardware
>3 hours battery max
>600$ on 3rd world countries, unlike the competition which is half the price and includes games
>Save states are locked on console, if you lose it or it malfunctions you will lose all your progress.
>32 GB internal memory is very little for more than 5 games, competition has 500 GB minimum
>Uses cartridgers instead of discs
>Still uses friend codes
>No AAA support, only indies and nintendo support
>Can't do 1080p
>The dock can scratch the screen really easily
>Cables melt after long hour sessions
>Game cartridges taste horrible
>Straps are extremely hard to pull out of the joycons and can get jammed and actually cut you
>Single Joy cons are extremelly uncomfortable and small
>Cases are innecessarily big for no reason when the cartridges are too small
>Can't charge it with your Mac Laptop, it charges the Laptop instead
>Hard to buy games from another countries

The 3rd time today I've seen this posted

It's the greatest console ever made, you just don't understand it. Please delete this.

>>Less than 1 million sales.

Lies.

>>Faulty units and disappointed customers.

Tiny percentage.

>>System already getting blown open, freeshop only a matter of time.

Dream on faggots, it still doesn't even exist for the Wii U.

>>Only worthwhile game can be easily pirated on Wii U and is making rapid advancements on CEMU.

Runs like shit on CEMU, how is Wii U piracy in anyway relevant to the Switch launch? Oh right, it isn't.

>>CEMU devs also have already laid the groundwork for a Switch emulator.

CEMU has literally nothing to do with the Switch or emulation of it, learn how emulators work faggot.

Switch is still shit, but OP is a gigantic faggot.

>Less than 1 million sales
Source?

Dude, there is point to post this petty nitpicky bullshit when the problem OP mentioned exist.

>retailers are positive and had a good launch
>can't find them anywhere
>people that say that they see 50 in their stores aren't posting pictures like they did with the Wii U launch
>but of course yeah like clockwork Nintendo is doomed and the unit has no good games coming even though it does

If a sperg is going to go to that much trouble to type something up you can guarantee he's going to sit around 18 hours a day posting it.

Add the fact that HD rumble is a scam and feels cheaper than normal rumble

>literately impossible to preorder one since it was announced
>LEL DIDN'T SELL ALOT
stay mad about horizen

>Cables melt after long hour sessions
Huh, really?

the fuck is cemu

Confirmed for having not used HD rumble.

The rumble in the joycons and pro controller is RIDICULOUSLY weak.

They're cheaping out on parts and calling it a feature.

>>CEMU devs also have already laid the groundwork for a Switch emulator.
Welp, I won't buy a Switch then.

>Game cartridges taste horrible
You lost me.

I played Zelda on the Switching for ~30 hours this weekend. The cables were barely even warm.

could easily be just a defective cable.

yes

Since when did people care about the fucking rumble?

It's true, and it's to keep kids from swallowing them and choking to death.

>Manufacturing process will improve over time.
>Wii emulators existed without affecting Nintendo

Get rekt. Sonybros BTFW

>source: your ass

why are redditors so assblasted about the Switch?

>Barely portable, doesn't fit in pockets, you have to take a bagpack just to play a game outside
Just like any other major handheld you fucking retard.

the fuck is google

>>System already getting blown open, freeshop only a matter of time
no its not

First it was "HD Rumble will be revolutionary"

Now it's "since when did people care about rumble"

>CEMU devs also have already laid the groundwork for a Switch emulator.
Source?

>still sold out everywhere around me

Do you need roms like R4 for CEMU?

>Cables melt after long hour sessions
That's new to me

...

>could go into any store and pick up a bunch

It's good to know people here ain't retards.

you people need to learn how to identify a fucking joke, really.

Nintenbros LITERALLY on SUICIDE WATCH.

sup mugi

How could Nintendo ever recover from this?

my releasing switch XL/whatever and then new switch XL/lite/whatever
every revision fixing exactly one problem

Everywhere I've been to still had some, but I'm not buying before a bundle comes out.

Given how standard and underpowered the switch is I wouldn't be surprised if we had a working emulator by the end of the year. I guess the main difficulty will be to overcome the DRM and decrypt the ROMs.

Because reddit is a hive of atheist askenazis who have no taste and are genetically degenerate sub human garbage

That's why you never buy the first revision of any console. I'll probably get the revised switch in a bundle one or two years from now. Assuming that it can't be emulated properly by then, which it probably will be.

>HEY EVERYONE IGNORE NINTY AND LAUGH AT SONY HAHA

>CEMU devs also have already laid the groundwork for a Switch emulator.
You're pretty new to emulation, aren't you? You're in for a real shock if you think we're gonna be playing Switch games on PC this year... or next y- fuck it, within the Switch's lifecycle. We'll see four or five multiplat indie games get emulated and perhaps a few bigger games making it to the title screens before crashing. That'll be it. As a PC gamer with a high-end system, I'm willing to admit that emulation is shit. The people working on this shit are wasting their lives because it never bares fruit.

Do you need a WiFi connection to set it up?

>Screen is TN, not IPS
It has a twisted neuron screen?

So theoretically a Switch is capable of running AND displaying games at 120 or even 200 frames per second?

Because making a shitty tablet instead of a dedicated powerful gaming device was not so stupid in itself.

this is pretty pathetic

retard

not an argument

My Switch has not been scratched by the dock, never once had a joy con desync, ran 4 hours in portable mode with Zelda (80% brightness, no wi fi) and is getting more use than my X1.

Was Sup Forums wrong again?

This year maybe not, next year I wouldn't be so sure. The Switch uses relatively standard hardware and is not very powerful, that'll make it relatively easy to write an emulator for the console.

I'm not sure how much they customized their Tegra SoC but I doubt it's fundamentally different from the off-the-shelf chips. You can easily find all the documentation you need for those. You can even run Ubuntu on those.

>never bares fruit.
lol, ok :)

>cartridges as a negative
>not paid online

No. Literally not an argument.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anecdotal_evidence

Skippable. Won't get the Day 1 patch which helps with joycon desync.

>playing games outside in the first place

But isn't random posts on twitter also ancedotal evidence? Battery life is confirmed by Nintendo, so that's fair. So was the desync issue. But the screen scratching is total ancedotally.

please stop shilling your channel.
The system sucks, but stop trying to get views.

>First it was "HD Rumble will be revolutionary"

Produce the archives of a gorillion posts stating this.
Go on.

>Dream on faggots, it still doesn't even exist for the Wii U.
