So you've been spotted by a Lynel.
What do you do?
Hard Mode: You can't warp away like a faggot.

take my butt pounding like the good sissy slut link is.
I only had 4 hearts the first time I saw one of these
I think I'm exploring too hard I'm 40 hours in and still haven't done a main dungeon
I want to make babies with a gerudo
That's a pretty young looking Ganon.
Go to Zora domain. You get a permanent fairy that that a 30 minute cool down and doubles your hearts in yellow.
You're playing the game just as intended.
Killed my first one last night.
I had to eat like 11 different foods and destroyed a flaming claymore and some shields, bows and a knights broadsword.
Then 10 minutes later I got a quest to take a picture of a lynel and I was pissed.
It's best when they cum from anal alone
suck his dick
I think it's supposed to be the other crossdresser you meet in the oasis.
He looks like a gerudo for some reason.
How do you craft elemental weapons. Like where. I was heading to goron city but theres a fucking guardian on the path and I dont feel like climbing around it.
Oh I have no clue how to craft.
I just found one on a huge tree stump in the middle of a lake with a bridge out to it.
That thing lasted forever and got me out of some tight jams.
man. This game really is amazing
Let him impregnate me with his child.
You can go back and get it again because overworld stuff respawns. Not sure when, might be Blood Moon. I do it with two Great Flameblades when I can because they're such great weapons
[SUSUMU HIRASAWA INTENSIFIES]
Oh snap. That's a good tip. Damn I gotta start marking stuff like that then
Fug I should have stamped my map
Anyone have the location by any chance
I noticed americans and asian powerhour is all over this game but during euro time the discussions are really slow.
Whats the matter with euros?
WHERE THE FUCK IS THE BOTW PORN, HOW LONG DO I HAVE TO WAIT REEEEE
It's directly west of the Central Hyrule tower. Since you've been there the name of the area should be marked on your map "Ancient Tree Stump."
We re only playing FIFA here in eu
>Memory where Zelda knights Link
I want off this depression rollercoaster.
Everyone is too busy playing dude.
Do all items break over time? Is there a way to repair them? I just like dressing up and don't want my clothes and weapons to disappear forever baka
Can you actually ride them? I fought one and got on him 3 times to no avail
I got a mount prompt once, before getting rekt in the colloseum.
Well there is a male Gerudo every 100 years and Ganon is just malice wearing Ganondorfs skull.
you don't really ride it, it just lets you get a bunch of free stabs in its back. i think it takes more damage that way though
I fight it and kill it because I'm not a casual.
We don't shit money to pay $500 for a single game.
...
Weapons, shields, and bows break over time and disappear.
Clothes, hylian shield, master shield, and a Zora trident thing last forever.
The Zora trident does break, though you can repair it
That means I had to press the attack button instead of the soothe button? Dammit. I could've killed him back then
>finish watching the memory
>piano is really going at it
>huh, new ambient music?
>targeting reticule appears
I'm disappointed.

It's a 6/10 for me. It's over, Zelda is finished.
Stop posting this no one believes you.
>hollowed out tree stump in shallow water with two metal boxes in it
>third metal box ten feet away
This has to be a korok puzzle right?
I kill these things with 4 hearts alone constantly. Git gud you fucking numale faggots.
There is nothing to believe, it is all true.
I think you have have to stack the 3 boxes on top of each other to climb the nearby tower. I messed around with those boxes for ages but couldn't trigger anything
>denial
That's the first step user! You're that much closer to accepting the truth.
Is this the new navy seal pasta?
I am posting it in all Zelda threads, yes.
ahhhhhhhhh that hurts my autism desu
>only four dungeons
>he doesn't know about the dark world
pretty easy just spam backflip and flurry
>Making shit up.
Memes about dungeon quantity aside, I really wonder why they limited themselves to only 4 despite having a huge world. And why so little combat? It's not like bosses are not huge skill barriers anyway
I think the could of done with 1 final dungeon. Yknow, stuck with tradition.
Well, you can call Hyrule Castle a dungeon by itself. One centered in combat rather than puzzles.
Yeah, maybe a huge castle or something.
Why is Link such a smart little shit in this game?
I fucking love it, reminds me of OOT. Dude woke up 100 years later just to be a dick
>Zelda is still butthurt at Link
>Forced to knight him
Awkward as fuck
Anyone know where I can find the recipe in Hyrule Caste? Found the Hylian Shield and Royal Guard weapons but no recipe.
Anyone know what to do at Palmorae Ruins? I found the missing slates, but what you get from finding them all is basically "put things on the pads." Well no fucking shit genius.
So, who here has done the shrine surrounded by flowers? I think it's somewhere east of Hyrule castle
hilarious
Threadly reminder to bring 20 minutes of cold resistance food and 40 arrows to the top of Mt. Lanayru
>the girl who truly loved Link is dead
I'm busy with my master's degree thesis until early April, still playing when I have time but coming to Sup Forums too is difficult.
Zelda isn't dead
What armor?
I ran into the memory spot while being chased by a guardian, watched the memory, forgot about it, and as soon as the memory was over, the guardian was still two feet away from me and chased me all the way to the Hyrule Field Tower.
Looks like the climbing bandana and the cold resist shirt dyed red.
Zelda's a BITCH
...
People have been saying this is proof the game takes place in the child timeline, but doesn't Zelda reference the great sea and other things later on in her dialogue? It's not as easy to hear because the audio and the subtitles shift to the champions, but I think I heard it. I'll watch it again to confirm.
I don't think it confirms where it is in the timeline, but just references to the other titles. I found it to be a neat, little thing.
This game is full of references all over though, since 30th anniversary game. Like how there's one region of the map named after Zelda 1 bosses, or how the Zora is littered with locations named after Zoras before-a?
I love how you're able to see other races before getting to their towns. I saw a Zora in Lake Hylia, a Gerudo in the Moana-looking village (how's it called in English?) a Goron in Zora's Domain and a Rito on the island in the south-east corner, all before getting to each race's town.
That's why I believe that line doesn't confirm where it fits in the timeline.
>be me
>hide behind a wall to avoid his broken as shit triple ice arrow bow
>he aims straight up and fires
>I stare at him, confused and very concerned
>he stares at me, devoid of mercy and emotion
>I am then struck down from orbit by his arrows
Lynels had better be the new darknuts, these fights are super interesting, fun and terrifying
Does anyone know why BOTW is 69.99 for Wii U on Amazon and the Switch version is 59.99? I am speaking about the physical copies.
Wait, that's the thing people bring up when they say it's referencing TP?
I saw the memory and thought nothing of it.
That's a weak ass link.
Isn't it a cook book? Is there a library or kitchen in the castle?
Shoot him in the face, jump on his back, stab him in the back repeatedly and then regret this decision as soon as he bucks me off, freezes me and then sets me on fire just so he can freeze me again

It's a 6/10 for me. Zelda is finished.
Spoken lines are a bit different than mountain names and shit. Aonuma said the placement would become clear as you played. Id imagine that's what he meant
>have to fight a lynel to get fairy power.
I don't think the timeline you two are referring to is actually canon. I think it's just something some fans cobbled together.
The scariest thing I ever met was some snow lizalfos and ice keese up in the mountains. One time I killed a black bokoblin!
forbidden in islam
We'd rather play the game than shitpost all day
Thats from the Hyrule Historia bro, it was written by Miyamoto and Aonuma
The simplest solution is obviously that it's pulled a Turn A Gundam on the Zelda series.
You can call it a timeline convergence, or a new timeline where many of the events of all three timelines happened, or whatever, it doesn't really make a difference. The general point to be made is that the game takes place SO far in the future that it doesn't really matter which timeline it takes place on but has references to all three.
This is exactly what Turn A Gundam did. I don't want to go too deep into /m/-territory but Gundam has multiple different canons which cannot possibly co-exist in the same universe, yet in Turn A Gundam, civilization has been destroyed and started over from scratch. There are references and historical records from all of the different Gundam universes, despite the fact that the timeline of G Gundam cannot logically co-exist with, say, the timeline of Gundam Wing. If you're more familiar with fantasy lore than robot lore, you could compare it to a "Dragon Break" from Elder Scrolls but on a larger scale.
Basically, it's Aonuma's idea of a fresh slate. This is supposed to be the new "starting point" like OOT was the starting point for all the 3D games. Future Zeldas will be prequels or sequels to the Calamity Ganon story, and we'll probably never find out which timeline it takes place on because in a way, it takes place on all of them and none of them.
You mean Mipha's grace right? Unless I missed something.
That timeline is wrong. Cosmic Era leads to Turn A. The moon colony in SEED wbere Lacus lives is identical to one of the cities in Turn A.
Gundam never had a split timeline though, it just had many different universes.
>on Hatemo Beach
>a skeleton pops up
>casually running away from it
>get hit with an arrow that knocks me from 4 hearts to a quarter
FUCK
I THOUGHT SKELETONS WERE RELATIVELY HARMLESS?
I honestly think this is the truth.
At some point before the game, the timelines get merged, which also means all Ganons got merged into one, their suffering reached tenfold, and they decided to give up on trying to reincarnate into new forms because none of the forms they've attempted have ever worked.
Skyward Sword is the earliest the series can go, and BOTW is likely (though not guaranteed) the furthest.
I don't know enough about Gundam to sit here debating you so I'm not going to, I'm just going to take the Director's Word Of God on this one when he says it's supposed to unify them.
Sure, whatever. The point is still the same. It takes place so far in the future that all previous games are irrelevant and their histories long buried, yet it references all three. "Timeline merger" is just a term to appeal to timeline autists, a more accurate description would be to say they're wiping the slate clean and not giving a fuck, it takes place at "the far end" of the timeline but they didn't care to specify which one.
Run and hope he didn't fucking see me.
Put up my hylian shield, block blow, hit with master sword as he staggers, repeat.
Game is easy as fuck, and yes, I got the master sword super early, ended up visiting the castle, beat a boss in the basement and got the best shield.
This game is a joke when it comes to bosses, boss variety, and dungeon design, among other dumb stuff. Disappointing Zelda game.
>got master sword early
How long did it take you?
>I got the master sword super early
>I intentionally made myself overpowered by getting mid game items at the beginning
>lol why are these bosses so easy?
do people like you try to be retarded?
Exactly. It's so far gone it doesn't matter.
However, long, long after ST seems to fit the best.
You need 13 hearts, so there's no way you got it "early" you lying cuck
I have the whole climbing set except for the bandana. Where'd you find it?
>Fi reference is Zelda resenting how Link is able to hear the voice of the Master Sword
Shouldn't she be able to hear it too since she's Hylia and she created her? Is this Zelda that much of a failure?
