I've noticed that almost all the webms have your ship fighting enemies from the top half of the screen. Is this a conscious or unconscious decision? Did you find it tricky to do a lot of fighting looking at projectiles moving up?
Not that I'm complaining since I am a traditional shmup player, but it is something I noticed.

Would you play a CRPG with RPG Maker graphics? Suppose that appart from the graphics the game is good.
CRPGs depend more on the interface/mechanics, and the setting/writing to sell themselves. I would suppose that an RPGmaker game could pull off typical CRPG stuff with its stats but you'd probably need to put some effort into it.

Currently trying to figure out how to get Blender->Apex->Unreal imports working without running into problems (for cloth simulation of those banners).
Still got issues with the mesh orientation or some shit.
Looking forward to native cloth simulation in unreal (should come with 4.16 I think?).
Any FBX fuckery that involves blender is always a massive pain in the ass. Same shit with root motion. Took me a good weekend to get that shit working out properly.

Please, either tone the CA down or just remove it. It doesn't look good. It seems your going for kind of a Bloodborne look, but it's far more subtle in that game.
This is very nice. The interior background is probably semi-placeholder at the moment, but you might try sprucing it up visually at a later point. Maybe something simple, like adding glowing red dots or lines to imply mechanical/cyber shit.

Nice to see some actual level design. The enemy placement seems really obnoxious. The last turret especially is just unreasonable, but the third wave of enemies looks very annoying as well. Hope it's not gonna be anything like that in the final version.
