Tanks exist primarily to support infantry, without infantry in the game the tank battles are just goofy and unrealistic. Nevermind all the balance and game mechanics flaws.

There's World of Warships and Steel Ocean. I like WoW better from a control and grayfix standpoint but the grind is incredible, whereas SO has way less grind but the ship control is more arcade if that makes sense.

I always wanted to try WoT but it's infested by Russians and after playing Dota 2 I can't take that shit anymore. I value my sanity

I prefer War Thunder to WoT. I'm choosing between two steaming piles of shit, but right now I enjoy WT more. WTGF realistic and sim feel as if you're actually driving a tank, being able to use bushes, hills and foliage to your advantage to not get spotted.

While in WoT you can literally watch a fuck huge tank vanish 500 meters away from you as if he had some cloaking system.

Uh, no they don't. There's some glitchy videos of bugs doing this in replays when they first introduced the x-ray camera, but that was a bug in the video, not the actual model, and it was fixed.

Wot is a more random experience. 25% random affects almost every action you make during a match. Top gameplay is dissapointing, because game becomes a grindfest of credits just to pay for ammo of tier 10 tanks. Visibility system is weird.

WT ground forces are less random experience, while in wot it matters onl if you pen or not, in wt it also matters how and where your shot goes. Most of the deaths in wt comes from ammo rack explosion or fires or dead crew, not because your tanks health bar is depleted. The grind is as shitty as wots and top tier tanks doest feel as a reward as well. But most peole play in middle tiers anyway and thats where game is balanced most so not a big deal. There are also more modes and 3 type of battles: arcade, realistic and sim battles with different kinds of autism in them. Game also looks and runs better than wot.
