I liked it. Thought it was pretty fun.

I platted the game in a week. Shit was fun. If there was more map and enemy variety then it would be even better.

Sequel hopefully soon since the ending was a cliffhanger

Breaking off mech parts was cool as shit.

Needs a sequel or even a 1.5 version some day both because of the cliffhanger ending and because it needed a bit more enemy variety.

got too many hours of this.

Great Vita game, very pleasing community, great boss fights.

Hada scary amount of fun.

If you weren't around for the threads back then you missed out everyone agreed its legit fun just needed some polishing in a 2nd game.Best part of the threads were rap sheet posting and btfo of reddit challenges even though everyone didnt speak the same language on the Sup Forums team.

Fun game but the story was sooooo bad

That's not to say the setting was bad. It had an interesting concept and world, and the intro was nice, but as the plot developed they just shat the bed.

I still remember when people though this was Persona 5.

The game would have been great if they evidently didn't stop working on it and called it a day.
>Less than 15 monsters
>Melee is garbage and broken in PVP due to stagger
>Uwe and his daughteru have an entirely different weapon that was never implemented and looks fun as fuck
>Copypasted missions
>Cliffhanger ending
>CC is good but still way behind PSO and even PSNOVA

It's a great game and Ibara was a fun as fuck gimmick but goddamned they literally stopped halfway through.
And what makes me even more mad is that it would have been the perfect companion for SSD.
As it is now it's okay but the wasted potential really leaves a terrible taste in my mouth.

>need 2 all purpose engine mk4
anyone know a good place to farm them?

it was ok

It's OK I guess.

WHERE THE FUCK IS MY SEQUEL!

>only game on vita for one month for reasons
>only singleplayer because net didn't seems to work at that time
>introduction set the mood nicely
>later half end up being more relax than the beginning and take a weird turn
>combats takes too long for what it offers during that lapse of time
>not whole lot of big monsters
>it can get ridiculously hard if not cautious
>monster attack pattern get awfully easy to read and boring to fight in the long run
>button spamming for cutting body parts

it was an okay game but it can get really frustrating if spending too much time on it

>frustrating if spending too much time on it
opposite for me

>k-on
more like get SHIT-ON, other anime

Interesting lore but the gameplay wasn't good.

After coming from SSD I found the story complete garbage and I ended up skipping it all. That said I still had a great time and probably put as much time on it as I did with SSD.

SSD had an unexpectedly good story told in an pretty good way, FW couldn't even compete and it basically dropped the story completely at some point while SSD gives you even multiple endings.

post your sinners

It badly needed a revision with more monsters, a complete story and the gauntlet melee weapon type.

I want those handguns the NPC use so bad. I think there's 2 of them, I can't remember.

Fuck yeah, man. I loved Freedom Wars. I was #1 in the Edmonton Panopticon for about a week.

Fun game but I wish it had more stuff in it. More monster variance and stuff. I had more fun making my characters accessory than my character.

>see this screenshot
>go take mine
>realize my vita has a green/dark filter that makes it look so bad
it's fucking different from the pic on my pc

...

what do you think this guy is?
god

forgot picture

I hated the weapon crafting in this game so fucking much.

It was fun. This and SS really need a release on console if not a sequel. Why the fuck did tearaway get a port but not these?

Yeah there was so much hidden shit you needed to look up a guide to craft a good weapon.
>Bloomer
>growth rank
>correlation between rarity and how many easily retained mods you can have

This ruined the post game for me. Spending a shit ton of time, resources and staff for a weapon that doesn't justify the effort effectively killed it for me in the long run. Plus and you have a game that is incredibly flawed but damn does it have potential.

They blamed Tearaway bombing on the Vita platform and not the fact it was never advertised and launched on the same day as a brand new Mario game or something like that.
Then Tearaway PS4 bombed even harder than that.

PS4 port/remaster/sequel got damn WHEN!?!?!?!

I'd take a Soul Sacrifice port over Freedom Wars any day desu

Unless they change crafting to - at the very least - remove the bullshit facebook-tier timers before you find out if you just wasted money and materials making something completely worthless.

They're doing a Wipeout 2048 port to PS4 so it might happen.
Or they might wait until PS5 and do something like "Vita classics in 4k" sort of how they're doing PSP ports to PS4 in 4k for Patapon and Locoroco.

>they're doing PSP ports to PS4 in 4k for Patapon and Locoroco.
nigger WHAT

So far it's Patapon 1, Locoroco 1 and I think the PSP port of Parapa the Rappa. 1080p on normal PS4, 4k on PS4 Pro.
