Xenoblade will certainly be delayed, but Mario will probably come.
I'd be a little nervous about the development time as it has been a fair shake shorter than Mario Galaxy and frankly that's the gold standard(though the sequel was better and it lacked all the movement options of Mario 64)

Well it's not like the season pass goes away once the game is out. You can just wait for it all to come out to see if you want it and then still get the season pass to pay less.

Yeah but having to wait for all of the DLC to release is another problem. Plus, if you decide not all of it is worth buying, you have to pay more per individual DLC.

It's not a season pass though, it's an expansion pass. You buy the expansion and some of the stuff will be available a little earlier.

It's like wanting to buy TFT without the Blood Elf campaign.

I was talking more about season passes in general. I don't know much about Zelda's expansion pass so if it's better, that's good I guess.

Season passes are inherently bad, and inexcusable. But people who buy vidya casually are stupid and people who buy it seriously are forced to deal with it and wind up buying it anyway.
It's bad because you don't know how the quality of the stuff will actually be, and if they all get locked together you're boned. Some stuff has probably been locked behind passes and became unavailable already too; it's as bad as Day 1 DLC/on disk/pre-order locked.

We'll find out when it comes out. Given the preorder bonuses are hot garbage, I see no reason to not wait.

I'll see what the future shit is like. That first "pack" is complete fucking hogwash. A shirt and some normal items. I can't believe they had the balls to consider that part of the pass. Then locking a difficulty mode into dlc is just the worst shit ever. It's like they thought this whole "expansion" up over a coffee break.
