What the fuck happened to the NFS series?

What the fuck happened to the NFS series?

Godlike:
>NFS 3 Hot Pursuit
>Porsche
>Underground 1 + 2
>Most Wanted

Good:
>Hot Pursuit 2 (2002)
>Shift + Unleashed

Meh:
>Hot Pursuit (2002)

Garbage:
>Carbon
>The Run
>Most Wanted (2012)
>Rivals

Never played:
>The Need for Speed
>NFS 2
>Need for Speed (2015)

Seems like the newer parts are more boring and not fun like the old ones anymore. Need for Speed (2015) look kinda cool, like a new Underground.

Is it any good?

Forgot Undercover kek. That one was garbage too. Boring as fuck.

The Hot Pursuit reboot is good.

Also
>Carbon
>Garbage

I tried it but it was boring too me with the two fractions. Carbon felt like a Most Wanted clone with a more boring story and the partner stuff was so useless.

You need to move underground and most wanted (2012) and the shift series down to shit an bring carbon and most wanted up to meh.

They are more enjoyable than the "impressive customization" and bloom the game.
Shift is just a wreck.

EA happened.
Also Criterion is a shitty develper who can't make anything that's not Burnout, I never liked the Burnout games.

Is that screenshot Underground 2?

Yes

You dense motherfucker.

TO THE WINDOW

Also forgot Pro Street but that also sucked, is bug riddled and won't run on anything higher than Windows XP.

>didn't play NFS 2
That one's a classic, I'm surprised there are people who didn't play it.

Riders on the Storm was a fucking great song

>always online
>you're literally renting the game until they decide to shut it down
Don't bother with it.

Black was an amazingly fun game was pure gameplay and completely left field for a developer who only made racing games. It had tons of destructablility. Criterion had tons of potential but crumbled aftermarket the buyout when they didn't meet sales or shareholder expectstions.

It looks so good! Are you using mods or shaders?

NFS UG2 Textures Mod By Dragozool

NFS 2015 was alright. It had the goofy characters and variety, but the driving always felt kinda samey. It was perpetually wet too. I didn't play a lot of it, but I'm curious to know if it went in the direction I expected. Did it turn in to some Pro-Street shit where you enter events and race against the notorious drivers until you face the guy that is good at everything? I might go back to it if it does.

That looks so cool. Thanks user gonna replay it this weekend.

Make sure to set affinity to a single core, that fixes any of the crashes.

>normie trash

HAHAHAHAHA

I love the underground series is300 master race

Summer's already over. What are you still doing here?

What are some non-NFS games with good customisation?

What do you guys think about Pro Street? I absolutely love it.

NFS 4 is basically 3 but even better

BORN JUST A LITTLE TO SLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW

Yeah sorry for that. It's definitely a goldlike game and the OST fucking rocks.

I got it for my Wii on my birthday and it was the only racing game I had at the time. Fucking hated it at first but it eventually grew on me to the point where I actually finished the game. It was decent at best.
