Just played the Pripyat level in Modern Farfare remastered. Holy shit if they would just make a new stalker game using those assets. Too bad the mission went to complete shit after the sneaking and sniping part.

Sneaking and sniping is overrated cinematic garbage which goes from believable to straight up ridiculous in an instant when you and MacTavish jump under moving trucks in a middle of a convoy and stay unnoticed somehow.

The escape is pretty fun and tough, even if a bit random when you have to run to the choppah.

So for a second playthrough I'm using AA2. However it's becoming very frustrating when Sun Shadows always turn on when reloading a save (only on full dynamic) Turning SunS off gives me quite a boost in FPS. So then I switched to object dynamic but now Lighting Distance and Shadow Quality keeps maxing out giving me around a unstable 40fps. And I really don't want to use Static when i know my computer can handle it. I want to get the most optimal performance.

Any help? I even tried to manuallly turn it off in user.ltx by r2_sun off but it won't do.

Last light has the same cinematic shit but it's actually well executed this time.

Like it has pockets where it actually lets you play the game for 3 minutes where it's really fun, like raiding bandits with a silenced pistol. But then it's back to following some guy who overreacts to stuff and killing the same monsters over and over again with terrible gunplay.

I thought it was kind of neat, but not enough that people should suck its dick like they often do. The atmosphere was there, but ultimately it felt like the game was too well received by the kind of people that wanted to like S.T.A.L.K.E.R. but couldn't get past the pistol being inaccurate and the graphics not being all that good.

CoC is good, but it's feels so fucking empty. Even with the weapon addons, proper damage, increased mutants, there's absolutely nothing to find in the different levels. The NPP level is legit empty except for random monolith soldiers that hang around, and a couple of military units.
If would be a 10/10 if shit actually happened every now and again and you could find loot.
