Zelda cycle is rea-

>zelda cycle is rea-

There are more "reviewers," I'm sure, than at any time in history as well.

rollan

Give me that Paladin/DK.

You know you can get banned for rolling right?

I think Skyward Sword being bad enough finally killed delusions of the "Zelda Cycle."

So good for Fujibayashi. Set the bar low and then blow everybody away.

Video game scores haven't mattered in decades.

I fucking love zelder

Paid reviews, Nintendo always does this shit

In what universe is this a 10/10 game? If Ubisoft made this game it would have had 5/10

>>Emptey world

Typical drones, ignores the topic and decides to point out spelling mistakes instead

Have you played it?

What's it gonna be?

Rolling for Spellsword.

woah... the power of shitposters

pls rogue/mage

The Zelda cycle WAS real, but Breath of the wild is probrably the best we've had in ages, so

Id love to play this, but I aint buying a console for it.

In about 5 years, Im gonna enjoy the shit out of this game.

ROLLAN gief good shit

>BotW is great
>SS is still shit

I'm glad the Zeldacyclefags can finally shut the fuck up.

>22fps
very reasonable considering the world the game is pushing. most of the time its 30
>900p
I'm playing on wii u at 720, what the game was made for so I don't even care
>no story
This is good, zelda has always been overbloated with shit, now we can actually play
>Open world meme
GTA,Red dead redemption, skyrim etc. are considered to be some of the GOATs, fuck off
>Emptey world
lie
>shit music
the music is actually pretty good
>Only 4 dungeons
100 shrines, I don't care
>Ubisoft towers
shitpost

>linking to an article written by some gamer girl who probably has short blue hair

Give it up. Graphics alone are already shit enough to at least put it down to 9/10. When you then add in all the poor balancing, questionable decisions, wasteful world design, boring characters, retareded fuck-you-in-the-ass weapon durability etc. you end up with a 7/10 at best.

More like 6/10 if you really care about graphics.
Ok graphics are cartoony - but that's no reason for shit to look so washed out, bland and with the view distance you can clearly see how everything is just a poorly colored low quality texture in the distance. Don't even get me started on the actual design. 10 trees is a forest, 1 room with 1 grade schooler puzzle is a 'dungeon' / shrine, yet there is plenty of empty meadows to waste time on.

gimmie that 99

so what you're saying is you didn't play it

Nah, TP and SS will never be considered good.

>replying to copypasta bait

in about 2 years you could be dead

In about 5 hours, even.

3 minutes, even. Life has only one currency worth mattering, and that's time.

Enjoy things now, or forever be cucked to imminent peril.

Do you wanna be the guy that "got to play Ocarina of Time in 2004, wow what a great game!" or do you wanna be the guy that got to play it when it came out in 98?

Because that's what this is. Playing something years removed waters it down and puts your memories of the game in a wrong time period that is unrelatable to the rest of everyone.

>what the game was made for
Actually the Switch version is the primary version

But the world is empty.
The amount of unique content is minimal in comparison to the world size. Even the unique content is often absolute garbage, i.e. shrines with one room that any toddler could solve in half a minute. On average it takes 3 to 5 times as long going to a location compared to what you can actually do there.

Me too.

So, what you are saying is that you can't prove the graphics don't suck balls and the rest of the game has major flaws as well.

I am a rollan

Im actually convinced now that the people giving this a 9 or 10 out of 10 are actually paid shills or mentally retarded.
>bought a switch and this on release day
>sunk around 60 hours in it
>Literally only enjoyed about 6 of those hours
>the rest was just doing shit I've already done in the most mundane way possible a million times over
>graphics are fucking awful and the framerate is disgusting
>I've seen better stories in shows meant for actual toddlers
>Combat is still basic as fuck and no better than previous iterations
>dungeons are all the same
>shrines and puzzles are all the same
>lackluster enemy variety
>actual lackluster equipment variety
>bosses were all disappointing and the final boss is actually easier than random enemies in the overworld
>the overworld is devoid of anything memorable
>copy pasted ubisoft open world gameplay and exploration elements
But I sold my switch online this morning and Zelda for 450 usd so I'm not complaining about that.

ROLL fuck your system

>replying to a comment made from a fat guy living in mom's basement

lol, no it's not. The game began production on the wiiU and was to be released way before the switch was going to come out.

Rollingu for cleric

give me the scoop: how bad does it run on the wii U

Let's go

Fuck Nintendo and rollin

>Tfw no dubs

Battlepriest

>He plays games he doesn't like for 60 hours

I don't know what I was expecting. Wasn't this though.

They completely revamped the game in 2015 and at that point the Switch version received far more focus
Anyways, regardless of what it was planned for, they came out at the same time and Switch is clearly better. If you got it on Wii U its because you're poor

Exactly.
After you have done the plateau, the rest of the game is just doing exactly the same all over again, except for all of the whole 4 dungeons for a world that could easily fit 100.
But hey, gotta catch all those 900 pieces of shit so you get some item that is pointless by the time you have travelled everywhere.

Pls no agi based

BotW has a more filled world than Skyrim and Dragon's Dogma, to name a few. Can't wait to hear how all the named games are shit though.

The graphics suck but it's a wii u game trying to do a fuckheug open world

Its borderline unplayable. The framerate drops to the teens whenever you rotate the camera.

Let's-a-go

Kek. Enjoy your b& for replying to a reroll derail

Rollerino

Fine in the overworld, Dragon's Dogma in Kakariko Village.

>The switch is clearly better

lol, what are you basing this on other than the inferior frame rate?

>If you got the wiiu version it's because you are poor

Or I'm not a nintenbro and can see that the switch is a piece of shit right now?

Xenoblade

also, there is no reason for the colors in the game to look so incredibly washed out and everything looking kinda blurry, even n64 had better color

You played a game for 60 hours but only enjoyed it 10% of the time?

This is how I know you're lying, user.

>paid reviews
>systematically delete any negative reviews
wow guys such perfect review score!!! :^)

Let's go

Hey now

>22 fps
>900p
On a brand new console... How on Earth could anyone spend 300$ for this shit ?

fuck me. i cant shell out $300 for a shitty console for just one game. i fucking hate nintendo

rolling for gambler

Well it is Nintendo's last chance at trying to recreate the Wii's success. They have clearly invested a lot of money: Superbowl spot, John Cena etc. Bribing reviewers was definitely a big part of their marketing budget.

If they fail now, there will be too many people demanding them to give up making consoles for them to ignore. Because their shareholders will demand it as well.

Its like spending a hundred hours in skyrim. Was it good? Fuck no. But there were a lot of collectibles and a map that you wanted to explore because you hoped there would be something good in there. But I actually think skyrim had more interesting things to find.

I hope I get some gud roll

This. The Wii U version is oddly horrible in terms of graphics. I played Twilight Princess HD before this and honestly it's almost a generation apart. I admit TP HD deals with much smaller areas though.

Give me that pure Wizard bud.

Buy it for the Wii U if you have one. Do not even consider a Switch at this point.

>lol, what are you basing this on other than the inferior frame rate?
resolution and portability. Also stable framerate is actually a big deal.

For the world size it's not enough and the things that are there are just repeating the same shit you have done the first couple hours of the game. The other zelda games offered way more gameplay variation over the course of the whole game.

Shiiiit I'll take the bait

It's perfectly playable on wii u. Looking into the distance and rotating the camera looks disgusting but most of the time it's 30

If you take out all the copy pasted shrines where you're literally just doing a terribly implemented and gimmicky physics puzzle it has less content to map ratio than morrowind, oblivion and skyrim.

come on bard

The switch version has an equally bad if not inferior frame rate to the wii U version, is what I'm saying.

>portability
I don't play vidya outside

rolli

Why would we take shrines out of the equation? Dumb argument

it runs stable 30 undocked and around the same as wii U docked. Switch doesn't chug in villages which wii U seems to

>The switch version has an equally bad if not inferior frame rate to the wii U version, is what I'm saying
Wii U: 720p with heavy drops
Switch tablet mode: 720p with no drops
Switch docked mode: 900p with drops
Any way you look at it the Switch version is the best

Because they are literally a huge waste of space for a single toddler level puzzle. They would have done much better creating 8 or so more dungeons and filling those with 100 puzzles instead of the shit we got.

rollerino

Because it's artificial content inflation.
>There's a million shrines
>Oh awesome what makes them unique and fun to do?
>nothing, once you've done one you've done them all
>now give me a 10/10

>terrible framerate
>on a brand new console
>as a system seller

12/10

le rollin

If the Switch won't be a hit, Nintendo is fucked, so they they bribed or intimidated every reviewer they could this time.

Shrines are the glue that keeps the entire exploration gameplay loop together, remove them and you're left with korok seeds.

rolling for class

Give me something good.

>content is now artificial content
With that logic both Portal games aren't games at all.

pls be warrior

Let's see.

everywhere is stable, except kakariko village

Noy him, but I bought the game for Wii U on Tuesday. He's not entirely wrong.
The FPS goes noticably down in towns and during rain, even though the Wii U is supposed to be the version with better FPS.
With the exception of the Ruta boss music (not Water Ganon, the music when you ride Sidon and have to shoot the Shock Arrows) there has been no other memorable tunes in the game so far. In fact, this is the only game I can think of that I played that doesn't have menu screen music (not counting arcade/NES era games).
Early game weapons break much too frequently to the point where I didn't even feel like engaging enemies because running from them was the better option. It's safer, less time-consuming, preserves your weapons, and your food in case you took damage.
I like the game, quite a bit actually, but it defies logic that this game would recieve as many 10/10's as it did unless if these "professional" reviewers were being paid off. If Nintendo was willing to spend millions of dollars on a Super Bowl ad for this game, you really don't think they would even consider paying off the gaming media that has already proven they can't be trusted?

>Once you've done one you've done them all

Every shrine I've been in thus far has had a challenge specific to that one shrine. I like them, it's like having the puzzles isolated from the dungeons of prior games.

They're not like skyrim's enemy coridoors

...
