Kojima is severely overhyped, but far less so than Taro.

Taro's games just repeatedly retread some worn out Philosophy 101 concepts and tell them in bizarre ways. It's kind of hilarious how people are praising Automata's story as some avante garde AI philosophy lecture when it basically asks the same questions every game that centers on AI asks. Kojima's games are often guilty of that as well, but can come up with some truly interesting content. Memetic value and Kojima's view of the future in MGS2 is easily among the top tier of video game writing. And of course, gameplay wise Kojima's games destroy every Taro game but Automata.

Only contrarian drones on Sup Forums will ever seriously claim that Taro's superior to Kojima.

One got stranded along the shore where Norman Reedus's character finds it and it turns out it's the last living one. The black dude is probably Mads himself or somebody from his unit checking the wreckage for the baby.

The only people who say this is Sup Forums, and Sup Forums has absolutely no idea of how videogame development works considering people here unironically think 80 million is a big amount, or that Konami is somehow angry even though the game made more than twice that money in one day and was praised everywhere.
People here unironically think that whatever Sup Forums thinks has any relevance on the industry, or that the company lead by a guy who literally said that he didn't know that Silent Hill or MGS had fans, and that they should be free to play games, cares about the quality of their games.

Funny, because when someone asked him about how ''post-modern'' MGS2 was he just said that he simply likes writing stories interesting enough to make you want to keep playing the game until you finish it.

It is, i've followed games with near 0 budget and 1/2 developers that have made games millions of times better than most studios churn out.

When are you idiots going to realise the industry is very wasteful when it comes to budget because it gets you more voice acting, 3D modeling, mo-cap and marketing.
