Are there any video games out there with a similar structure very much like Gantz? What I mean by that is, are there any games with the following?
>Mission based
>Mission load out customization
>Point system - At the end of a successful mission, you are graded, whatever points you get can then be used as currency to better yourself for the next mission
>Time limit - If the clock reaches zero, you fail and thus get no points
>Zones - During a mission, you are stuck in a zone, if you leave this zone, you die
>Power armor - Allows you to take a certain amount of damage, take too much however and you will become vulnerable, in this state you die in one hit, ARMOR WILL NOT RECHARGE, armor will recharge however after a successful mission
>Fast paced, almost CUHRAYZEE combat
>Enemies must look otherworldly, as if alien
>Bosses are rape personified
>Enemies and bosses differ in size, some small and others FUCK HUGE
>Game is hard and difficulty cannot be changed
>Permadeath - Start from scratch
Are there any video games out there with a similar structure very much like Gantz? What I mean by that is...
the whole thing was based on video games you fucking moron
movie was fine except for the romance garbage
I know that, stupid. I want a game to play that is similar to Gantz because I fucking love the concept. Movie is pretty good too.
Nobody?
If I remember well, you have to kiss a train to unlock the game, at least that's how they did in the manga.
But are there any video games like what I described?
or get shanked like a bitch like the main character in the movie did
>oh no someone is coming at me with a knife
>better just stand here and take it like a bitch
Kato is confirmed a dumb fuck since he goes to a shitty highschool so him dying like a dumb bitch to a subway stabber isn't surprising and also video games.
Fuck it, I'll ask somewhere else because this isn't working.
MGSV
Bayonetta
Dirge of Cerberus
All have a good amount of these things
Already have MGSV but I'll look into Dirge of Cerberus. Thanks m8, you're alright.
XCOM Ironman on difficult
EDF
I've heard XCOM being compared to Gantz before, I'll see into that.
EDF is the first thing I thought of too but fighting bugs, especially since they mostly just look the same with no variation turns me off from liking it.
there is nothing like that you fucking retard
but try freedom wars
I'll ignore the insult since you at least gave me a game that could potentially play like Gantz. It doesn't have to have all of what I described but still have a few of the things I listed.
Stabber was nishi cause he missed kei and wanted a stand in leader and also because nishi is the best.
I hope the popularity of this movie means that the ps2 game will finally be translated. Also I'm glad they left out the vampires, that whole thing was fucking dumb. Vamps and the manga ending were the worst. Irl movie ending was the best
i was just kidding with the insult i'd love a gantz game aswell but there isn't shit i've never played god eater but from what i've seen from it it might play like it
Nishi is all around good when he isn't getting BTFO and crying for his mother.
Was actually thinking of buying God Eater m8
Vampires were a mistake. The entire third or at least until they get on board the alien ship is when the manga went to and stayed in shit.
What games let me be Muscle Rider?
why is there never any love for best guy
also gantz:o would've been infinitely better if kaze and takeshi fucked up some aliens
>hating vampires
what the fuck? the vampires clinging on to the gantz members and getting warped into the room and forced to undertake a mission was one of the best moments in the manga
>that kaze + takeshi cocktease at the end of gantz:0
i don't need it... i don't need it...
I NEEEEEDDDD IIIIIIIT
punching dinosaurs the fuck out was the best moment in the manga followed by turning yourself into a nigger and shooting up everyone
>Mission based
This is X-Com.
>Mission load out customization
This is X-Com.
>Point system - At the end of a successful mission, you are graded, whatever points you get can then be used as currency to better yourself for the next mission
There is a grading system but it's got little to do with currency. That mostly comes from a separate strategical component of the game.
>Time limit - If the clock reaches zero, you fail and thus get no points
Some missions technically have this in X-Com.
>Zones - During a mission, you are stuck in a zone, if you leave this zone, you die
You can't die, but the mission areas are limited in X-Com.
>Power armor - Allows you to take a certain amount of damage, take too much however and you will become vulnerable, in this state you die in one hit, ARMOR WILL NOT RECHARGE, armor will recharge however after a successful mission
You have health points in X-Com that regenerate between missions. Better armor adds more points.
>Fast paced, almost CUHRAYZEE combat
Nothing like X-Com.
>Enemies must look otherworldly, as if alien
The enemies in X-Com are literally aliens.
>Bosses are rape personified
X-Com has no bosses, save for the final boss that's not a real boss either. There's a miniboss though who's pretty tough at the time you encounter him.
>Enemies and bosses differ in size, some small and others FUCK HUGE
This is X-Com to a degree. Some enemies are 8 times bigger than the others but that's not as big of a deal as you might think.
>Game is hard and difficulty cannot be changed
Difficulty can be changed in X-Com.
>Permadeath - Start from scratch
Optional in X-Com.
>turning yourself into a nigger and shooting up everyone
that was so high concept, wonder what was going through the author's mind when he was doing this, really makes you think
Gantz's ending pissed me the fuck off. Waited ten goddamn years for that shit.
if you thought that was bad wait until you see how berserk ends
jokes on you it's never gonna end
It reminded me of the end to the original independence day
i feel like gantz really went down hill in phase 3 still my favourite series ever
Will Mass Effect Andromeda have romance options this good?
if only he didn't kill the kid this would be the greatest moment in the entire manga
uhhh maybe warframe?
a lot of the criteria are really specific so not in that regard, but warframe is mission based musou-like loot and shoot sci-fi TPS
Well fuck me, definitely buying XCOM
don't dude the game is RNG out the ass it will only make you mad.
How bad are we talking here?
