Breath of the Wild thread

Breath of the Wild thread.

What are you guys doing right now in the game? How far are you?

Yesterday: always at least three botw threads up
Today: always at least three botw threads up plus another three that are exclusively about the Cemu version

>cemu version

Doesn't exist.

>Breath of the Outback

I've done 21 shrines so far and found about 35 Koroks. Tomorrow I'm going to look for the Korok guy. I need more weapon slots.

Yeah, where did he bugger off to after you get his maracas? I have a bunch of seeds to cash in

He said he's off to some forest to the North, didn't he? I'm just going to search through all woods to the North while looking for more shrines and stuff.

Where can I get more arrows? I wasted all of mine destroying the Guardian turrets outside the Bomb Shrine? I already left the plateau but haven't reached Impa yet.

Is she sneaking a peak at his butt?

Lost woods

I got a few questions.

>1.Are there really unbreakable weapons?
Some people said there are more unbreakable weapons other than the Master Sword.
There is supposed to be a Zora Spear that doesn't break, but from what I've seen that's not correct you can only buy a new one.

>2.Where can you find diamonds? (I got 2 of them but I don't know where I found them)

>3.Anyone got some nice spots to farm those shiny stones / glowing stones? (sorry don't know how they are calles in English)

>4.Can you change the language of the game? I'm German but I think I've read somewhere that you can change it to English.

>5.Can you buy weapons with elemental effects somewhere?

You can find him in differnt places though near stables.

he gets lost on the way to the lost woods, you'll find him near the horse stables in the bottom rightish area of central hyrule

Arrows are super scarce, conserve them as best you can. You can buy more in towns but you can only buy like 20 at a time

I just found Ganondorf's horse

I read that horse taming works cumulative. As in, if you are out of stamina, you can hop back on and your taming progress isn't lost, meaning that you can tame any horse even with low stamina just by grinding. Is that correct?

Kek

I like to go through the mountains north of the Zora's domain. The lizard men like to drop two at a time.

As far as I know, no that isn't correct. It takes about two full stamina wheels to tame that horse

two bundles of five at a time

Alright, thanks. Guess I will just mark the spot and continue onwards to the last labyrinth for that sweet barbarian armor.

I'm still mad about the lack of music

>killing a blue chuchu with an elecgric weapon makes them drop yellow chuchu jelly

Is this TECHNOLOGY? Any more instances of this?

You can do it when the jelly is on the ground.

One user a few threads back summed it up nicely. Its minimalistic approach makes it more suitable for most situations.

Supposedly people who played XCX went mad with the loud music blaring constantly.

ice and fire jellies too, too bad they're basically useless

drop blue chuchu jelly into a fire
or in the snow

Cheers anons.

Go be a Nintendronic shill autist somewhere else. Like Miiverse, or maybe a Balding Males Support Group.

Where do I get the Hylian shield? I got two dungeons left, Rito and Gerudo.

Got master sword and 2 star hylian gear, tunic, hood and trousers.

Just need Hylian shield and im good to go. Where is it?

So what's the purpose of the giant thunder dragon flying about?

Just filled in the last section of the map, I have only about half the shrines in the game. I'm still impressed at how fucking massive it is.

If you can fight him you get materials to upgrade the Champion's Tunic... and some other secret things

In Hyrule castle. In the lowest area. You need to beat a miniboss to get it.

I'm kind of disappointed I saved Rito village for last. The town was minuscule, the story quests were easy and the dungeon was probably the easiest of them all.

Can I get out of there once I got it or am I stuck?

>Oh look an island named after Tingle, I wonder if there's some funny NPC there
>It's actually swarming with guardians.

Did you do the shrine quests? I found them to be the best ones actually.

You can always leave the place.

I don't have BotW. Can you remove Link's underpants?

unlocked the jewelry shop, all the items take up the head slot. Whats the point in a game with set bonuses?

Paya wishes.

it's unclear whether he wears any

Agreed, I had the highest hopes for the Rito but everything about their story just seemed meh. Especially after how great and AMAZING Sidon and the Zora were.

Dr. Paya, I'm LINK

Set bonuses aren't all that great

>nintendo didn't add a way to romance in this game

Motherfuckers. They have a team of 300 people dedicated to creating perfect waifus only to not let you do shit

Gerudo > Zora > Goron > Rito

>Cemu version
Lul

Looking for the last two memories I need to find
Reading Zelda's journal made me realize one of them is probably in the Yiga Clan hideout but I'm completely lost on the last one

finished it a few minutes ago. 60 shrines, 4 dungeons and 60 koroks. End game feels average. Last boss was a let down, and so was hyrule castle.

I just beat it, then went back to Impa for the final memory and bought and furnished the house in Hateno.

Still have about 50 shrines to go and 800 fucking koroks

the problem is that open world game + romance = usually sex in any other open world game.

I'm sure nintendo knows that. Link will always remain asexual

>flamebreaker torso
>600 bucks, and you can even get it for free
>flamebreaker pants
>700 bucks
>flamebreaker helm
>2000 motherfucking bucks
Why?

There are 800+ fucking Koroks? I have like 80. Jesus

Really Tingles me bum.

Hats are cool man, gotta charge extra for cool.

1- the spear needs to be repaired for one diamond
2- They're random spawns. the Zoran who's fixing the lamp post in the domain give you 2 diamonds for 10 luminous stones.
3- Said stones are abundant in death mountain
4- Unless you emulate you're stuck in German
5- Nope

I just beat the Rito dungeon, just Gerudo left and I already did some of the precursor to that before the Rito one so I'll be ready to go to Ganon soon but in all honesty, I could probably just beat him now. I'm deciding if I want to finish the shrines and memories before Ganon or just beat him and then go do them.

Killing guardians for ancient cores, upgrading my ancient armor. Doing side quests.

Are there different endings in this game? I kinda just want to beat it since I'm losing interest.
Only have Gerudo dungeon left, have the Master Sword but don't feel like hunting for more shrines or memories beyond that.
Will I get the "bad" ending if I don't see all the memories or something?

it makes your head goron shaped.

Really makes me feel like I'm missing several major formats that they hide in

>2.Where can you find diamonds?

You can give a Zora 10 Luminous Stones and he'll trade you a diamond. It's actually a side quest and afterward he'll do that transaction every time.

Otherwise, you probably killed a Stone Epitaph thing and it dropped diamond.

Wrong, the problem is that Links wuves Zelda in this game. It's like asking for romance in TP, when he clearly... WHY DID YOU HAVE TO BREAK THE FUCKING MIRROR? FUCKING HELL!

Okay I like holding the screen but is the 4K CEMU meme real or just a pipe dream?

Those are all good points. Guess I'll be selling some gems.

That is correct. It'll probably take 5 times or more to tame the big horse. That's how I got it.

Midna was a true waifu who did not want to cuck the second-best girl.

It's the not complete ending. But getting memories is quicker than getting the Master Sword so it should be trivial to finish that.

So I just beat a major strength shrine I think before I was "supposed" to. I know there's no order but I now have these ++ weapons when I never even got the + weapons before

I'm afraid to use them because from what I understand they're useful for defeating other guardians. Can they be repaired before they break?

Does the painter guy give you tips for all 12?

it's a real pipe dream :^)

Guys, I'm at the Lost Woods and keep getting engulfed by the mist. Is there an NPC that tells me what to do or do I keep throwing myself in there until it works? No direct answers please, just a hint.

damn it. I will have to go find out myself, won't I?

At what point should I go after the master sword

light a torch and follow the wind

It was that the flying track would keep repeating everytime you took off instead of continuing where you left off. Dear god.

One word Wind

I just got the game(downloading). It's gonna be an fucking amazing weekend for me!

Probably, but I found most of them just looking at the pictures.

There's a thread around here somewhere

There actually is. I don't remember who it was, but somebody tells you about the Lost Forest and gives you a clue.

And then there's this asshat.

>Sit in on Gerudo class teaching them how to pick up men.
>Go to the teacher's house
>read her diary
>Strongly implies she's a virgin

There are a handful of issues the Cemu team needs to fix to make the game truly playable, and there's no real way of knowing whether those problems will be easily or quickly solved. I say this as somebody who tested the game out and "played" it today. The physics are borked, and performance is bad. But yes, increasing the rendering resolution is real and has very little impact on FPS.

There's 900 total

Miss us yet?

Where do I get the rest of the Zora armor?

Only for masturbation material

There's a torch right at the start of that section. it's not my fault he's dumb

i just got to that survival island or w/e.

took a break since i had been playing for quite a few hours today.

FOOKIN NOICE

Do a sidequest from one of the qt fish grills and read the stone tablet in the room below the throne room to get a clue for the other one.

sorry Midna, Zone filled the void you left in my heart years ago.

Legs are a quest reward, the helm is hidden somewhere with clues on the Zora history slabs telling you where it is

Link is enough.

I only started like two days ago. Not too far. I'm just fucking around mainly.

It's nice so far.

how do I set the sheikah back to targeting shrines? I gotta take apicture of an orange shrine?

>Last boss was a let down, and so was hyrule castle.
Did you just skip through it all, or did you explore it properly? When I did the latter after beating Ganondorf I was shocked how interesting it all was. Felt like a Zelda 1 dungeon.

Just hit Y on the map screen and choose the shrine option.

70+ shrine and korok.
2 divine beast.
I am trying to figure out the last Fairy fountain is, and locate the courage lake.

Aside from this i just fuck around for fun

I am playing way too much, i will try to moderate myself tho. It's just so easy to pick up and play at anytime fuck this.
