That's pretty consistent with how he talked about it in the podcast. Jeff loves to nitpick even his favorite games ever. What was annoying was Brad trying to downplay any perceived flaw and basically telling Jeff he's playing the game wrong.

It just sounds like you don't like this style of game. As a mature adult, you need to be able to assess these kinds of things for yourself before purchasing, or else you might end up yelling at nobody on the internet about it.

Correct. Link Between Worlds is an example of a game that is actually good and doesn't waste my time. It sucks that Breath of the Wild was successful because it basically guarantees that Zelda is destined to be Open World trash for at least the next decade.

All of Hyrule and the dungeons in the first Legend of Zelda is the size of one tenth of BOTW's map, not counting shrines or dungeons.
