Why aren't there any good submarine games?

Silent Hunter series

>good

Because no ones made a submarine moba yet

Because Nintendo doesn't have Steel Diver available for the Switch.

Everyone was jerking off a sub game here a few months ago

What was it called?

...

There's one

>No multiplayer sub game with 8 players controlling one sub against another 8 players in another sub

There are, you just can't see them

Silent Hunter III is the shit.

Subnautica

I believe this is the best submarine game ever made. It is vastly superior to its 8bit and 16bit versions.

>submarine game
>it's third person

Yeah, he meant excellent.

Maybe Submarine Commander?

How's Diluvion?

A thread about Silent Hunter and people barely mention Silent Hunter
Silent Hunter is the right answer

He's never played Aces of the Deep.

Sad!

>when the free demo came out and everyone was gung-ho about learning basic morse code and random japanese phrases to talk in the pregame lobby

Anybody remember this?

They were making good submarine games before 90% of Sup Forums was born.

...

You could at least post your own screenshot.

I still enjoy the SNES version of Hunt for Red October.

im on my laptop user.

CMANO is the best modern submarine warfare game

CMANO is a good wargame, possibly the best modern naval wargame but I wouldn't go THAT far. SH4 with RFB or Operation Monsun is better, for various reasons.

fucking japs and their EEEEEEEEE

Are we gonna talk about SEAWOLF? This was my favorite game as a kid.

As hyped as I was for its release, it's flat out okay. They have done some quality of life patches to it, but it's noting amazing. I still recommend it, but don't think it's going to be an amazing experience, that would lead to some disappointment.

Does it have a non convoluted way of simulating communication lag yet?
