I've only been recently looking into game stores such as origin steam etc and I'm appalled at the amount of fragmentation and jewry there's in these modern games.

Castlevania is a konami product. Konami wants nothing to do with video games. That's not news at all. Pachinko gives a much better return on effort/payoff. Gambling is a hell of a revenue stream. Shadow Hearts was rated M while Shadow Hearts Covenant had exotic dancing, nudity in multiple cutscenes, and a bizzare reverse-oedipus complex where a woman can't get with the man she loves so she gets with his father as the next best thing.... and then mothers and raises him because time travel. Ar tonelico 2 had a great combat system, turn based, good rhythmn timing presses, the works. It was an enjoyable RPG and T rated.
Ar Tonelico 3 scrapped ALL of that in favor of a run around nonsense system like Tales without anything that makes tales enjoyable. You have no combos, your specials are laughable. The ONLY, OOOOOOOOOOONLY reason people played Ar To 3 was because Saki and fennel would go nudie when they hit hyper. THAT was the draw of the game now, you completely killed a good game all for some pointless fanservice of some buttugly unlikeable whores. Good job Gust. A fucking + mate.

Ar Tonelico 3 sold on the coattails of the first 2. For people who wanted closure to the story. Nobody in their right mind went in with high expectations of it. Fanservice entirely aside the red flags were abundant. First 3d game by Gust, first real-time combat system, it built heavily off of side materials not deemed worth it to officially translate, and despite all that it did have positive points to it. Like it was one of the best uses of actively remixing battle music to suit battle progression. Something I don't think had been done yet outside of Skies of Arcadia yet. Also, it brought closure to the world. It may not have been what people wanted, but it did exactly what they said it would. Still waiting on your explanation for the other bullshit you spewed. Or at least expanding upon it.
