Is this Musou any good? I love Berserk, but never played these kinda games.

Musous are a pretty divisive genre. You either think it's repetitive bullshit or you enjoy killing entire armies and managing your territories and shit. It helps for Pirate Warriors that the combos are more like a fighting game's command list, as opposed to most games with one attack button and one finisher button.

Any character with a gimmick of staying still and moving an attack (Moria) is just a pain to use safely.

I do want to read the manga but I want to read the Japanese versions since a friend of mine gave me the first 12 tankobons along with some other manga for my birthday 2 or 3 years ago and I prefer reading an actual book. It looks like it should be pretty easy to read too since I already know the story for the most part and it has furigana.

I watched all the filler and everything else but I think seeing how close I was to being up-to-date stopped me, a couple of years ago it felt like I had a massive amount of content to go through and now that I'm almost caught up I wish there was more.

In a similar boat, I stopped watching because they go through a long-ass flashback for the toy guy followed by a long-ass flashback for Law straight into a long-ass flashback for Doflamingo and that shit just gets tiring.

2 or 3? I don't know much about Perona, but I love her design & ghost shit, so whichever one she's better in may affect my decision

3, It's an abridge recap of the story up to Dressrosa which gets a filler end.

One thing to know is that 2 is its own story (based on the time-skip Straw Hats and Whitebeard), while 3 is a retelling of the series up to Dressrosa.
Character-wise, 3 adds Tashigi, Moria, Fujitora, Doflamingo, Caesar, Sabo, Shanks, Ivankov, Magellan and Lucci. Both have Perona.
Haven't played 2, but I'm enjoying 3 a lot. Either will probably be fine.
