>implying it runs at 20FPS
Why people lie about CEMU's performance? I can run all PC games at 140 FPS but BotW runs at 4-5, 10 at max. Am i using wrong settings?
CEMU

botw doesn't run yet
>believing the shitposts
Because it's not a native PC game? Are you stupid or something, OP?
people are making shit up to trigger nintenbabbies
"Yet" being the key word here.
Just give it some time OP.
It's barely been a week
Give them time
they need more money
I'll tell you how to make it feel like 60 fps if you share 1.7.3 cemu with me
>1.7.3b
No wonder, get 1.7.3a or 1.7.3c, 1.7.3b was broken as hell, only got 3 FPS.
You probably have a shit PC if 1.7.3c won't give you at least 15 FPS.
If you have a beefy CPU you can get 30 FPS, it's no lie.
But it's unplayable, ugly, broken and missing loads of shit.
if you have an AMD CPU thats probably why
Not him, but I have a old AMD FX chip too and I can get around 12-20 FPS.
What are your specs?
Core 2 Duo, GT 620
I'm a diehard Nintendofag and I'm already playing Zelda on the Switch, but I'm really excited to see CEMU develop. They seem to be really dedicated to get it working properly so everyone can play without issues. Good luck to them!
Got a mega link or something for 1.7.3?
>being not only poor, not only late, but also dumb
What the fuck user
single core performance is king for emulation
Just wait a week. It's broken as fuck anyways, better forget it for a few months and then check back.
Same
It's nice to know we'll one day be able to play the game at a proper resolution, especially since it seems Nintendo has no interest in selling that experience
you're using the wrong version of cemu
1.7.3c apparently got it running on 60 fps, anyone got that download link?
>60fps
>can't even leave the tutorial area
You've been rused.
You want tis?
30*
but you need a beefy PC
stick to this
60 if you've a top of the line CPU. 15-30 is reasonable though. It's not really worth it, though. game crashes on all cutscenes, even minor ones, and physics are fucked all hell. You'll literally sink up to your chest if you stop moving.
You can't get 60 only 30. They have nowhere close to it being playable, yet alone have mods or patches for unlocked framerate.
1.7.2 prompts for wii u system update but i believe 1.7.3 circumvents this? I'm about to get the game running i just need to find 1.7.3
You can if you're using a very expensive very overclocked processor.
Nothing to do with your hardware. It's hardlocked to 30.
yes please that'd make me very happy.
Too bad, suck it down poorfag
You need EU version to get past update notification.
Too bad, don't feel like it.
Im mad that he asked you politely because I knew it wouldnt work
I'm running the EU version
I'm not but the answer is still no.
See It's not worth the hassle.
Virus
I'm sorry
>running = not a virus
sure
>60fps
Don't bait them like that user
oh cool haha now i'm doubting
Thanks for the bitcoins.
Why would you call your computer that, though
woops
>But it's unplayable, ugly, broken and missing loads of shit.
So is the switch version.
What? I get 30 fps indoors and 20 outdoors. you must have a bad setup user.
youtube.com
ohboy now i'm doubting
>Windows cannot verify the integrity of this software
Nice try script kiddie
The video by CEMU even said the game was unplayable, why does anyone think otherwise?
It boots, it's not playable. It probably won't be for a couple months.
>they fell for the i5 meme
My i7 4770k OC'd to 4.2ghz is crushing this. GTX1080 helps too I guess?
Can' wait for this to be 4k
More then the Switch.
Both EU version 1.0.0 and 1.1.0 work fine for me. Did you try from a clean Cemu folder?
my bad
>implying people on patreon would pay for a Windows producer key
Guys just pick up a used Wii U somewhere and hack it
You won't regret it. If ever a game was worth buying a cheap used console for, it's BotW
>Can' wait for this to be 4k
You can run it in 4k if you want. Make your own graphics pack and set the resolution to what you want.
I'm not in a hurry, the Wii U version is still shit.
anyone got a load line version?
>still using an i5 3570k from like ~4 years ago
should i even bother?
>the Wii U version is still shit.
It won't get better by emulating
Resolution sure but not framerate
>another fucking Cemu thread
Why do pee semen keep boasting about how they can emulate the inferior version of a console game?
How is the sound?
>More then the Switch.
Forgot pic.
Try? My old ass FX6300 does it fine.
dude just download it and check it with an antispybot and antivirus before doing shit with it
I'm with you on this, in reality 3 months is really quick for a title that JUST came out
I expected 6-8 before seeing 1.7.3 running the game in general
The problem is there is still a good chance the dev team will run into a problem they can't easily solve and stall development, or at the bare minimum leave a glaring issue in further updates
Personally I don't mind waiting unless I hear development is stalled
They can't yet, just take screen shots of the beginning
Did you even lurk the thread?
Yes, resolution mostly.
How about framedrops?
where did you get t the download from?
Whats wrong with the WiiU version? I didn't see much difference in videos and things out there. Both seem to have serious frame dips in parts, but otherwise looks like a good game.
Honestly I usually like emulation over an actual console due to controller selection and just being too lazy to dig carts/discs/bullshit when I have a computer ready to game at all times.
But fuck me emulations of anything on CDs or later gets to be a fiddly bitch of bios loading and setting tweaks. God damn gave up on Soul Reaver that thing was a stuttery shit and the PC version is one of the 3 games ever the PC port was total ass and never fixed.
If the physics is broken, obviously they can't get far?
Your point?
>GTX1080 helps too I guess?
it does literally nothing for emulation, it's mostly CPU sided, you wont have an issue going to 4k though.
for the game, i have the install folder and a bunch of .app files. what's the next step?
You just stated my point
Its not emulated yet
>Both seem to have serious frame dips in parts
This and shitty resolution.
I won't even play a PC game at 30FPS or low resolution, you think I will settle for a shit ass console version? Unless the emulator gets it running well, I will never play it, it just hurts to play like that.
here's one if you're brave enough, you can tell us if you got a virus afterwards
First step should be stop being a dumbass
Won't help you simply because it's already well documented
cool, thanks!
I'm running an i5 4690k at 5Ghz and a GTX 660. Can I run the game in a playable state?
not yet come back in a few months
see
This is a clean version though.
no I meant for the game silly , I already got the cemu
This depends on the emulator. I've not used CEMU but Dolphin and a few others use hardware acceleration to at least off load some of the work to a GPU.
I was planning on playing it on the WiiU, is it shit on that too?
Ya I know I'm a weirdo for having a WiiU me and the 3 other people that bought one, but to be fair its the only console with more than 2 game I wanted to play. I honestly think it was their Dreamcast. Full of a nice homebrew scene and cool shit nobody played because nobody bought the fucker due to bad marketing.
hint: Cdecrypt ;)
15fps.
It's a champ of a cpu, still runs stuff on high with a 670
Where do you download the BotW ROM?
Google: breath of the wild loadiine
oh use wii u usb helper. it's got all wii u games and you can decrypt the files in the app
>How about framedrops?
I'm unaware of an emulator that improves on framerate of emulated games. Not saying it doesn't exist but I've never heard of it. Accurate emulation would include the same framedrops
Honestly I just don't think it's worth it. You might be waiting a long time to play the game, and it might never not have problems like audio stuttering etc. To this day it's the same reason I don't emulate Wii games. Little hiccups in audio bug the crap out of me
>I'm unaware of an emulator that improves on framerate of emulated games.
wut, the thing is, newer platform emulators don't have to be accurate like that, they can actually patch faults in hardware in software
>To this day it's the same reason I don't emulate Wii games. Little hiccups in audio bug the crap out of me
Dolphin runs perfectly and it has neat things like unlocked framerate for some games and higher resolutions.
Even a shit thing like GPD Win can play GameCube games without any problems.
It seems like doing that would introduce timing and physics problems though, just like running Skyrim uncapped
>and it might never not have problems like audio stuttering etc
never has such problems with Wii emulation, shitty PC? too lazy to properly configure?
PCSX2 and PPSSPP both allow you to over lock the virtual CPU of either system and get better frame rates.
because they're using jacked up, top of the line equipment and you're not
if you're trying to emulate botw at this stage in development you're retarded, it doesn't even work past the tutorial area
if you really want to play it, get a secondhand wii u for next to nothing, update it to 5.5.1, and hack the shit out of it (it's super fucking easy)
dolphin lets you do this too but it can screw with some games, as some games are built around the limitations of the gamecube and expect a certain degree of latency
well, skyrim got it fixed pretty quick, they separated physics from framerate/vsync
also, wii u does not run games at hardware clocks anymore, you can overclock the system and the timings will be allright and frame rate will still lock to 30 (of 60 if they find a way) but you wont get shitty shuttering
old systems like that might get speed issues if you overclock
YOUR MAKING A MOCKERY OF THE PEOPLE WHO BOUGHT THIS AT RETAIL PRICE. EMULATION IS A CRIME. CEASE AND DESIST
You don't get it, do you. Once emulated, CEMU is the superior version.
Honestly probably not.
If you play game that you think with your GPU it should be getting really high frames (not an emulated game of course) and its not then you may be bottlenecking on the CPU. CPU does play a part in frame rate as its what grabs the frames for one and if it can't keep up with the GPU then its an issue.
i5s are crazy workhorses for their money even now. Next time you play a high end game check your FPS and compare to others with your GPU. If yours seems too far on the low side go for it otherwise fuck it.
Why are you even playing it yet? The game has no physics engine implemented yet you literally can't beat it
Are you saying you've never gotten a single audio stutter in dolphin? Because if you are you're either lying or you've never used it for longer than 5 minutes
