>Undertale was his 2015 GOTY
Can't think of a single reason why I should be watching his reviews. So I don't.
Mogworld was a fun read.
Stop making threads about yourself, Ben. Also stop moving in another continent because of your girlfriend you stupid asshole.
beta
develop your hypothesis
has anyone played his games?
Thread mandatory post
His videos are entertaining and I agree with him on a fair amount of points
Sup Forums thinks that disagreeing with someone's opinion makes their entire perspective invalid though, so he gets a lot of hate
He was okay when he was actually trying to review while being harsh.
Now he's just a memester that rips games to shreds for views to the point that he nitpicks nonsensical stuff.
I JUST WANTED TO GO INTO SPACE
Remember when he shit all over Demon's Souls then went on to become "hahaha guys i love Souls so much!!! praise the sun xD" when DS1 got big?
he's pretentious as all hell. can hardly listen to him without laughing
LOL
>when DS1 got big
He didn't play DS1 until like two months before DS2 got released. He was the definition of late to the party on that wave.
I like his videos for the gags, but I take his reviews with a grain of salt. Remember, he panned Monster Hunter because he couldn't 'git gud' but loves Dark Souls because it's hard.
I absolutely loved Mogworld, Jam was pretty fucking good (especially the audiobooks since he narrates them) and I'm currently listening through Will Save the Galaxy for Food.
His Zero Punctuation videos are pretty dope, but he's really a very talented writer and narrator, I'll always be on the lookout for his next book.
I love this trilby wearing motherfucker.
That reminds me more of Sup Forums.
As someone who loves Yahtzee I can only agree, some of his reviews tend to be surface level (although it's definitely not the case across the board), and like any other lighthearted first impression/review it's very personal, I watch mainly for the comedy, if I want to know whether I'll like a game or not I tend to use other sources (aggregating sources like TB, RPS, steam reviews, and some other more local communities generally has been working the best for me).
That's the great thing about the internet though, some people aren't very patient with video games (don't have time to) and have specific tastes. If yours don't align with Yahtzee or anyone else, go find somebody else that suits your profile better. I doubt Yahtzee supports the haters and fanboys that follow his views blindly either.
Haven't watched him in years, much like Bro Team, much like Giant Bomb, much like everyone who talks about videogames. As it turns out talking about videogames is completely pointless.
>LDO is over
Let's delete Sup Forums then. The board is 90% cancer anyway.
I watch his reviews everytime they come out but I always take his opinions and taste with a grain of salt
I wouldn't be opposed to that. I used to visit a bunch of game forums and slowly weeded them out and only Sup Forums remains. And I post less here than I used to. I turned that time into playing more videogames.
Bullied Gabriel way too much.
Except when you're commuting, at work, or generally don't have access to a PC (because yes, I would much rather listen to a gaming podcast than play mobile games).
Also hearing people talk about videogames and release is not just trying to play them vicariously. Most people use it as a buyer's game, and better podcasts give you insight into development and the future of the industry, which can be fascinating.
Or, in this very case, for comedy.
I feel you user
On the bright side it's been long enough that you could rewatch it and I'd still be somewhat fresh
